The Types of Crimes

One of the major problems of contemporary society is crime. While the media may
focus upon crimes of bodily harm, such as rape and homicide, most criminal
activity involves unlawful acts against a person's property. One such crime is
unlawful entry, which is the focus of this study.
Unlawful entry, more commonly known as break and enter, is a major problem
today. It is the entry to a person's property (home or shop) without their permission
thereby breaking the law. There has been a dramatic increase in the number of
unlawful entry crimes over the past decade. Although there are many different
reasons why people commit this offence, it always has a major effect on both the
individual(s) involved as well as the community in which it occurs.
Generally speaking, people commit crimes for all sorts of reasons. There is no
particular age bracket or sex that can be targeted for any particular crime. However,
one trend that is associated with unlawful entry crimes is that the majority of
offenders commit the crime to clear debt from other areas of criminal activity. A good
reason that is often handed to police is that they were doing it just to clear debts from
drug dealers or to help their current drug addiction. Another incentive that people
have to commit unlawful entry crimes is for the huge rush that they get from either
committing the crime or running from someone afterwards. Another trend that is seen
with unlawful entry crimes is that they are often spontaneous actions and not usually
well planned or well timed. Most of them are committed at night or on houses that
seem to have been empty for several days. But no matter how they happen, who
commits it, why they do it and when they do it, it always has a huge aff!

The Criminal Justice of Violent Crimes Among Children

There has been an increasing knowledge and awareness of violent crime among
children today; those under the age of 18. There are various crimes that these
individuals tend to commit. Distinction and discussion of these types of crimes, as
well as the causes and reasons for the characteristics of violent and nonviolent
crimes that children commit will be discussed. The concept of charging minors as
adults will be discussed, as well.
First of all, a few of the most common various crimes, violent and non-violent that
children tend to commit and their descriptions are among the following:
Murder/non-negligent manslaughter - Murder and non-negligent manslaughter
is the willful killing of one human being by another. This does not include deaths
caused by negligence, attempts to kill, suicides, accidental deaths, and justifiable
homicides. Manslaughter by negligence is the killing of another person through gross
negligence. Traffic fatalities are excluded.
Forcible rape - The carnal knowledge of a female forcibly raped, against her will.
Included in this category are rapes by force and attempts or assaults to rape.
Statutory offenses are excluded.
Robbery - The taking or attempting to take anything of value from the care, custody,
or control of a person or persons by force or threat of force or violence and/or putting
the victim in fear.
Aggravated assault - An unlawful attack by one person upon another for the
purpose of inflicting severe or aggravated bodily injury. This type of assault usually is
accompanied by the use of a weapon or by means likely to produce death or great
bodily harm.

Car accident
The three passengers in a car with a drunk driver have died while he now faces
death by auto charges for each of his friends.
arijan Bogoev has been identified as the 19-year-old driver who fled from the
scene by foot when his three friends lay dead or dying on Stip highway early
Thursday morning.
The two female backseat passengers- 20-year-old Nikola Trajcev and 18-year-old
Jovana Trajcevska- were pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.
Ms Rodriguez was partially ejected from the vehicle while Ms Marijan was
completely outside of the car when police arrived on the scene.
Both young women had recently graduated from Koco Racin High School.
The third passenger, 19-year-old Sashko Milev , was sitting in the front seat and his
condition was initially labeled as critical when he was taken to Gradska Bolnica
Medical Center.
Hours later, he died from what police described to local ABC 6 as extremely grave
injuries.
The driver, , fled the scene and ran to his cousin's house.
The police have not said how high the teen's blood alcohol content was at the time of
the crash, but no matter the amount, he is under age and will be charged with driving
while intoxicated.
'Preliminary investigation shows that he was trying to navigate the curve and lost
control,' Sgt. Doctor said.
'With the passenger side leading, the car struck the rear of a tractor-trailer which was
parked on the right shoulder.'
This comes the same day that a 16-year-old drunk driver in Skopje was let off with
only probation after killing four people with his lawyers citing 'affluenza' as the cause,
saying the boy's wealth stopped him from differentiating right from wrong.

The Mind of Serial Killers

The idea of getting into the mind of a serial killer can either be frightening or
fascinating, or both. Everyone is affected by the senseless killings of these serial
killers. I cant imagine a person that was not affected in some way or another by the
Charles Manson murders or the Timothy McVeigh bombing.
Although you may not know somebody that was killed by a serial killer, you have
been affected. My audience for this paper would be anyone that has a respect for
freedom and the right to live. You may not want to hear all the gruesome details and
that is okay, but I believe it is important that we become more aware of why we cant
stop these things from happening.
We have been able to reduce crimes such as rape and theft by making ourselves
more aware of how and why those people do what they do. We have been informed
on how to protect ourselves from them, serial killers however, strike at random and
its hard to watch out for them.
It seems like all that we know about serial killers is the basic serial killer profile,
white male in mid twenties, lives alone and is shy and doesnt have many friends.
When and if the police finally catch the person, half the time the profile was way off.
I hope you find my paper interesting and informative. May we all be more aware of
our surroundings and hope we are never victims of such madness.

So far I have read a lot of books filled with information on serial killers in general. I
have also looked at a bunch of internet sites. I have not verified the sites yet though
to make sure they are accurate and reliable. I plan on going back to the library and
gathering some more information.
There are several different types of books on serial killers. I need to weed through
the books to see which ones will be the most beneficial to me.
We can all agree that serial killers are unpredictable scary people but when it comes
to why they kill, everyone has a different view. In my research paper I will get into the
mind of a serial killer and try to figure out what exactly sets them into uncontrollable
rage.
