Testing a New Way for People to Discover and Buy Products on

Facebook
Today were beginning to test a new feature to help businesses drive sales
through Facebook in News Feed and on Pages.
With this feature, people on desktop or mobile can click the Buy call-to-action
button on ads and Page posts to purchase a product directly from a business,
without leaving Facebook.
Heres how the test unit looks:

Weve built this feature with privacy in mind, and have taken steps to help
make the payment experience safe and secure. None of the credit or debit card
information people share with Facebook when completing a transaction will be
shared with other advertisers, and people can select whether or not theyd like
to save payment information for future purchases.
The current test is limited to a few small and medium-sized businesses in the
US. Well share more information as we gather feedback.

How can I use my Facebook account balance to purchase in-game items or

currency?
Your Facebook account balance is automatically used when making purchases.

When making a purchase, you'll see your account balance below the price of
the item. You may also encounter the following scenarios depending on the
amount of local currency you have in your balance when making your
purchase:

If you have enough local currency in your balance to pay for the item
you're trying to buy, your purchase will automatically default to your
Facebook balance.
If you have local currency in your balance, but not enough to purchase
your item, your existing balance will be applied to buy the item and
you'll be prompted to pay for the difference between the cost of the item
and your current Facebook balance.

Keep in mind you can view your current Facebook account balance by visiting
your payment settings.
If you're still having issues using your Facebook account balance, let us know.
