Although North Korea is a sovereign nation, if they possess nuclear weapons they will endanger
not only Israels safety, but international safety.

North Korea otherwise known as the Hermit Kingdom, is currently in possession of

deadly nuclear weapons. North Korea has tested at least three weapons, even though it had
sanctions placed and economic struggles. (Mizokami) North Korea has never demonstrated itself
as a safe nation when it comes to international peace. Therefore, they should not be allowed to
own such destructive weapons. North Korea is also, reportedly supplying Egypt, Yemen, Iran,
Iraq, Libya, and Syria with nuclear missiles. (Levine) This could be very dismal for Israel due to
the fact that those countries are some of its biggest national safety concerns. Furthermore, this
could threaten the worlds safety. North Koreas nuclear weapons and facilities should be
confiscated and destroyed immediately for the continued protection of the world.

Nuclear weapons in the hands of a rogue nation like North Korea could be catastrophic
thats why I would like to propose all nuclear weapons be confiscated from North Korea and
deposed of properly. North Korea violated the sanctions when it supplied missile technology to
Iran. (Harel) I propose we communicate to North Korea stating that, if they continue to
construct nuclear weapons while ignoring the UNs regulations, then the UN will have to
confiscate the weapons from them, in order to continue the safety of Israel and most importantly

international peace. If North Korea does not follow this proposal then the United Nations will
confiscate these weapons with the use of force. If they follow this proposal, then we will reward
them with humanitarian action, such as nutritional food to stop the stunted generation from
becoming the norm of living conditions. Furthermore, the Resolution inter alia prohibits states
to directly or indirectly supply, or help to supply, North Korea with major conventional
weapons. (UN) North Korea has violated this when they sold missiles to Iran, a threat to Israel,
as well as other Middle Eastern countries. If Iran were to use the nuclear weapons they bought
from North Korea to harm Israel this would most likely lead to a world war. If we follow this
proposal then we could terminate the start of a world war.
