SPECIFICATION & QUOTATION FOR FLAMEPROOF/W.PROOF LIGHT FITTINGS
Supply of Cast Aluminium LIGHT FITTINGS dust, vermain and Flameproof & Weatherproof suitable for Structure mounting.
All the enclosures are cast out of superior quality aluminium alloy. All the surfaces are carefully cleaned and levelled so as
to give very smooth surface. All the enclosures are chromatised and finally epoxy powder coated by static charge spray
method by light grey shade 631 as per IS5. Powder coating gives very tough durable and extremely smooth surface. All the
mating surfaces are provided with round rubber gasket in the groove so as to make it effectively dust and vermain proof.
Prototype LIGHT FITTINGS with control gear fitted is tested by C.M.R.I for Explosion proof-ness and for IP65 Class of
protection. MOUNTING: M.S.Strip is provided for fixing. CABLE ENTRIES: Threaded cable entries are provided. Unless
otherwise specified no gland will be provided. EARTHING: Earthing is provided on both sides of enclosures by 5mm screw
with two plain washers and spring washer of brass.
INSPECTION & TESTING: Each LIGHT FITTINGS will be subjected to routine tests in accordance with relevant Indian
Standards & including following:
(1) Dimensional check as per drawing. (2) Operation test. (3) Insulation test with 500V Megger. (4) HV Test at 2KV for 60
Seconds. (5) Earth continuity test.
