PARIS STILL AMONG THE TOP 5 MOST ATTRACTIVE

CITIES
04/02/2016
The annual survey conducted by KPMG published this week demonstrates:
Paris remains one of the leading global cities in terms of economic attractiveness
However, Paris region has lost two ranks in past year
Paris and its region hosted 126 international investments between October 2014 and September 2015, resulting as nr 5
in the world behind London, Shanghai, New York and Hong Kong, but ahead of Tokyo, Beijing and San Francisco.
By industry, nearly a quarter of investments (24%) concern the software industry
The loss of two ranks probably depends on:
Decline in Asian investments, especially Chinese
Decline in financial services investments
Terror attacks
