AA both sides without knots, core not allowed.

AB one side without knots, other side with rare knots,
approx. 1 knot on 1 meter, core not allowed.
BB both sides with rare knots, core not allowed.
BC one side with one knot on one meter, other side with
unlimited knots, core allowed 30% from board one side area.
CC unlimited knots, core from both sides, not exceeding 30%
from board total area.
ABC not sorted, sawned from AB grade log, C class not
exceeding 5% from total volume.

Manufacturing

Boards cut from AB grade log with diameter 24cm+up.

All the bad boards with defects and core which covers more
than 1/3 of the board space are sorted away.
Kiln dried until none of the boards show moisture more than
8%.
Width measured in the middle of board, not counting into barks
and packed into pack covering all the six sides of the boards and
marking pack with a hangtag, indicating all the important
information about specification of pack.

Packing conditions
Delivered in 40HC container.
Packed by all six sides by polythylene film.
In one pack only one length boards.
Hangtag on pack indicating pack number, length, thickness,
weigth.
Fixed with hoops, hoop number depends on length of pack.
Pack standing on legs (marked IPPC), so it can be taken by
forklift car.

Payment & Delivery

We provide our goods from our port terminals in Latvia with
whom we have established good cooperation to Your port of
delivery.
We can provide goods also by trucks or railway, according to
Your destination point for Your convenience.
Regarding payment, then we are working only under L/C or PrePayment through bank transfer (T/T), but we are open for Your
suggestion of payment terms.

Birch Lamellas
Birch lamellas are produced for manufacturing glued panels and
furniture parts.
Lamellas are sorted by quality:

AA - 4 sides free of knots and visible defects. Natural mineral

inclusions are allowed. No coloration of the heartwood is allowed.
AB - 2 sides free of knots and visible defects, two other sides may
have live knots up to 20mm in diameter, as well as black spot knots
up to 5mm in diameter. B side may have some heartwood
coloration.
BB - 4 sides free of knots and defects. Unlimited heartwood
coloration and small knots up to 5mm in diameter are allowed.
FRAME - 4 sides allow strong knots that are not falling out, as well
as unlimited heartwood coloration and heartwood that is not rotten
and does not have a significant impact on the strength of the
material. This is the basic material used for production of
upholstered furniture frames. The "Frame" grade birch is mostly
calibrated (planed) - S2S or S4S.
Standard size of lamellas:
24 (available in all sizes) x 45/55/65/75/100 / 125mm
Standard size of calibrated lamellas:
23 x 43/53/63/73/98 / 123mm
Lengths ranging from 250mm

Birch Panels & Beams

We produce birch glued panels and beams according to

custom sizing. The panels may be glued from finger-jointed,
as well as from solid lamellas.

Quality: A/A (knotless), A/B, B/B, B/C, C/C.

The maximum panel dimension: 45 x 1000 x 3000mm
The maximum beam dimension: 90 x 90 x 3000mm
Standard panel thickness: 18mm, 20mm, 21mm, 45mm
Standard beam size: 20x40mm, 40x40mm, 60x60mm
Our panels are used to manufacture furniture parts such as
chairs, cabinet doors, table tops, table legs, bed parts, as
well as other products.
