“ #2. Why Do I Need A Savior?”

Genesis 1:26 (KJV) 26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over
the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

Genesis 2:7 (KJV) 7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and
breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Acts 17:26 (KJV) 26And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the
face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their
habitation;

Genesis 2:16, 17 (KJV) 16And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every
tree of the garden thou may freely eat: 17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,
thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eat thereof thou shalt surely die.

Genesis 3:5, 6 (KJV) 5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes
shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6And when the woman
saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be
desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her
husband with her; and he did eat.

Isaiah 14:13, 14 (KJV) 13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I
will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the
congregation, in the sides of the north: 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I
will be like the most High.

Ezekiel 28:14-17 (KJV) 14Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee
so: thou was upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst
of the stones of fire.15"You were blameless in your ways, From the day you were created
Until unrighteousness was found in you. 16"By the abundance of your trade you were
internally filled with violence and you sinned; Therefore I have cast you as profane from
the mountain of God. And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of
the stones of fire. 17"Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted
your wisdom by reason of your splendor, I cast you to the ground, I put you before kings,
that they may see you.

1 John 4:8 (KJV) 8He that loves not knows not God; for God is love.

1 Corinthians 13:4, 5 (KJV) 4Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is
envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display
itself haughtily. 5It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude
(unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on
its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or
resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered
wrong].

Genesis 3:6 (KJV) 6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it
was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit
thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Romans 5:12, 18 (KJV) 12Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and
death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
18
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even
so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Romans 5:8,9 (NASB) 8But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we
were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9Much more then, having now been justified by His
blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

2 Corinthians 5:19 (NASB) 19namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to
Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word
of reconciliation.

Ephesians 2:8 (NASB) 8For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves, it is the gift of God;

Colossians 1:28 (AMP) 28Him we preach and proclaim, warning and admonishing
everyone and instructing everyone in all wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways
and purposes of God), that we may present every person mature (full-grown, fully
initiated, complete, and perfect) in Christ (the Anointed One).

Colossians 2:10 (KJV) 10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality
and power:

Colossians 3:3 (KJV) 3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

John 5:24 (KJV) 24Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on
him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is
passed from death unto life.

Ezekiel 36:25-27 (KJV) (Vs. 16 Shows that this is God still speaking here) 25Then will I
sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all
your idols, will I cleanse you. 26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I
put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you
a heart of flesh. 27And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my
statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

2 Corinthians 4:10, 11 (NASB) 10always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus,
so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11For we who live are
constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may
be manifested in our mortal flesh.

John 3:19 (KJV) 19"This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and
men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. (John 8:12 and
1:1-29 Explains that Jesus is “the Light.”)
