CALL FOR EMPANELMENT OF INDUSTRIAL EXPERTS TO ASSIST PROJECT APPRAISAL, EVALUATION,
APPROVAL , MONITORING , CLOSING AND IMPACT ANALYSIS RECEIVED UNDER THE SCHEME
ENHANCEMENT OF GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS OF INDIAN CAPITAL GOODS SECTOR

The Department of Heavy Industry has notified a scheme on Enhancement of Global


Competitiveness of Indian Capital Goods Sector in November 2014. The details about the scheme
may be perused on the departmental website at dhi.nic.in. The scheme components relating to
technology development and creating industrial facilities require empanelment of industrial experts
to assist project appraisal, evaluation, approval, monitoring, closing and impact analysis. The experts
are needed for industrial technologies related to manufacturer of entire value chain of capital good.
Financial and project experts are also needed for project appraisal, evaluation, approval, monitoring,
review, project management, project closure and impact analysis. These are senior industrial /
projects / management experts, who could devote time and expertise for the cause of the country,
though token emoluments towards basic expenses are provided for.
Experts
Independent experts in industrial technologies, finance & management to assist the Department
with tasks in connection with the above scheme in disciplines like project appraisal, evaluation,
approval, monitoring, review, project management, project closure and impact analysis
Who can be an expert?
You have a chance of being selected as an expert if you have a 20 years expertise in the relevant
fields of industrial technologies, finance and management and can be available for occasional, shortterm assignments. You should be below 70 years of age.
What countries can experts come from?
Indian citizens can register their interest in being an expert.
What do expert assignments involve?
Experts, as peer reviewers, assist in project appraisal, evaluation of proposals, approval of proposals,
monitoring & review of implementation of the approvals, project closure and impact analysis.
In addition, experts assist in any related specific task.
