As you will read in the Tesponses, the District did not purchase or pay for any of the materials received from Ignite. The materials were donated to the District by United Copper in Denton, Texas. Response to questions: 1, Rick Clements, Deputy Superintendent of the Sanger Independent School District, Gail Knight, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction for SISD, and Karen Bates, ‘Technology Specialist for Sanger Middle School met with Ignite representative Tom Delganis in December 2006 to preview the COW units to be delivered to SISD. The units were donated to the District by United Copper in Denton, Texas Ms. Bates and some M.S. teachers also met with Ignite representative Jennie Lou Leeder in January 2007 to do staff development and demonstrate the use of the units. There is a maintenance agreement enclosed between Sanger ISD and Ignite during the donated use of time of the COWS. 13, Sanger Middle School 14, Two COW units are on the year end inventory at Sanger Middle School ‘The Sanger Independent School has answered all questions pertaining to the Ignite Company and the use of the two COWS donated to the District. Four 7" grade teachers (two science and two social studies) and four 8" grade teachers (two seience and two social studies) will be utilizing the program to enhance their curriculum and “ignite” students’ learning experiences! ‘The four social studies teachers will share one of the C.0.W. machines and the four science teachers will share the other one. Each department head anticipates that this program will bring about highly engaging lessons for the students and, in turn, great success for the learners at Sanger Middle School.
