I have applied for 18 schools for my child but he did not get space in any school list . As a
parent we are too nurvers, what should we do ? Delhi do not have sufficient school so that
they can give education to every one. Government in India do not have strong policy to curb
the malpractice in the name of autonomy of private school, Black money involvement in
education sector. In india only we talk about make in India but as a parents we feel we fail in
India due to poor policies and poor intention to bring transparency in system .
similarly many parents are reporting they have applied for 40 Plus school but their child
name in no list .
Is schools are out of Government control due to commercialization of education in India.
Black Money ,caption money , donation , corruption has hold in country,
we parents are paying more than 1 lakh rupees tax annually,
we are hopeless shell we stop paying tax, education cess as Bombay High court said in one
case , it may be possible public will stop paying tax if government do not have better policy
for betterment and control over scope of black money , we pay tax for betterment , for no
corruption, enough facility , education for everyone.

First & second shift of 5 hours each + Evening school should be for 3 hours, total 13 hours.
Three sets of teachers will be used. This will also help increasing the employment.

Currently tax benefit for child education is Rs. 200 only that is quite old and far away from
current situation. People are paying Rs. 3000 to 6000 per month for child school fee.
Government need to increase this tax benefit amount to atleast Rs. 3000 per month for child
education to promote education level in India

All School, Engineering colleges, Medical colleges are charging unwanted fees in the
name of development fees, infrastructure fees, books, library, donation fee etc. This
requires re-evaluation to stop black money involvement. For all receipts, TIN number
or Pan Number should be compulsory. These schools / colleges should be treated as
small scale industries type Education.

HRD Ministry to play important role in this area. To reach to everyone Telecast / DTH providers can help in this subject to promote education. DD channel
could be a good point to start. If government gives some special tax benefits then lot of
private DTH providers and private parties also comes in front.
For Microsoft itself this is really good opportunity to promote Bing by investing in
education program. Quality of service will help them to connect with all internet users,
mobile users, also they can bring live education channel through DTH.

The biggest challenge in the education sector in the future is to make it affordable to
everybody, says Martin Hall, Vice Chancellor of the over 100-year-old Salford
University, Manchester, UK.
I feel very strongly about it. So in the future, education between different countries
should be a partnership. Its not about us exporting a highly expensive product. At our
University were examining how we can come into countries like India and work with
partners to offer the best opportunities. I am very excited about the model we are
developing for that.
We have a number of partnerships in different parts of the world weve been in Sri
Lanka for 25 years but are yet to come to India. We want to set up international hubs,
where our expert staff will fly out from 5 to 8 days and provide quality teaching, and
are excited about doing that in India.
We find India quite confusing because we get certain messages from the Federal
government and entirely different messages from the state governments and partners.
And there are so many new private universities in India and wed like to work with
them. But we also respect the older universities because they have a higher status,
but often not much money.
Salford University
We are well over 100 years old and have over 20,000 students, including 2,000
international students. The three big countries which supply us students are China,
India and Nigeria.
the economic growth in Britain last year was 0.2 per cent.
Yours was well over 5 per cent. The point is the global economy is shifting south, towards Asia, towards China,
India, and to survive our universities need to build these partnerships because we live in a globalised world.
Wed like to think our international education is good for India, but its also very good for our own students. In
my university, and I am very proud of it, half of my British students are the first in their families to come to a
university. Lots of them havent had the opportunity to leave Britian; many havent even been to London. So for
them to meet international students is a great opportunity.
Moving forward, what are the challenges in education?
Huge financial challenges in making education affordable for many more students. Weve got to find very clever
ways of using new technology in the best way to improve the quality of education, while we reduce the costs. I
also believe womens education is important everywhere. If we dont drive that were not going to get social
change.
Referring to the 12th five-year plan (2012-17) thrust on higher education, The new
initiative in higher education - Rashtriya Ucchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA), Additional
spending of Rs.25,000 crore by the central and state governments. About 300
universities and 8,500 colleges across the would be covered under the scheme with
90 percent of funding from the central government for most needy states like Himachal
Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, northeastern states and Uttarakhand and 65 percent
for other states and Union Territories.
India will need another 1,000 universities and 50,000 more colleges,
according to government estimates.

Google in education
Chromebooks at School now in India pilot programme will be launched in collaboration
with Andhra Pradesh government's department of information technology and will be
examined across four schools. 25 Chromebooks will be made available for free to each
of these schools. Facilities such as high-speed WiFi Internet connectivity and power
backups are also arranged by the government for hassle free usage. Mentors will also
be assigned to train teachers and students and familiarize them with the technology
and its functions."This is a very healthy initiative taken by Government of Andhra
Pradesh. With Google backing it up with funds and technology, progress is definitely
assured. Interactive learning is trending in schools today and children of the current
generation do enjoy it more. Hence, this facility will definitely help them. I hope the
Pilot gives successful results and Google continues investing in education and
launching such programs for the benefit and development of mankind."

In reference to your feedback, which you have shared on PM India Web Site, it is to
bring to your notice that your suggestion may be implemented by the educational
administration of that are where infrastructure like buildings for schools are not
available. The minimum time required for school per day is more than six hours,
therefore, two shifts would be more feasible.
Regarding fee in CBSE affiliated schools, it has been stipulated that the fee charged
by a school must commensurate with the facilities provided by it. Schools are not
allowed to charge any capitation fee. In case of malpractice in this regard, the Board
may disaffiliate a school.
As per the affiliation byelaws clause 11.1, No capitation fee or voluntary donations for
gaining admission or any other purpose is charged or collected in the name of the
school. If a school is found guilty of such malpractice, the affiliation of such school may
be cancelled by the Board.
Further, parents must be taken into confidence before increasing the fee. For any
further query, related to school education, you may also write through Interact with

Really Not Happy with answer- it is only sweet English reply
Solution:
All Schools should have separate Bank a/c and all fees / charges directly
deposited in School bank A/c through NEFT/Cheque. All nationalized bank/
private bank can help in this Subject.
All components of fee structure need to be fixed nation wise and school/college have
to publish detail on Internet as well as Government Income tax site. All fee receipts
must have Bar code / Pan No/ TIN No etc.
Transparency in charges / fees structure framework is required. National Level common
fees regulatory bill required.
Fees should be as per School Grading system of school or colleges (G1to G5) as per
facility standard
Black money or under table transection are killing our Indian economy and this black
money may use in terror activity. Requesting honourable High court / Supreme Court
and government of India should take strong steps to avoid this kind of situation by
generating policy level transparency.
Bluebells they simply said list will be out on 15th and there is no draw as per
the school.
Same is the case with Summer Fields School, they said list will be out on 15th
on school notice board and it's based on the points system 'No Draw', they
are not even putting the list of all the applicants with the points they have
scored.
same with number of school
