from other competitors. It measures a potential customers ability to not only recognise a brand
image, but to also associate it with a certain companys product or service. Usually when products
maintain high brand awareness to its competitors these products will get the most sales. Brand
awareness is best spread through both inbound and outbound marketing efforts. When competition in
an industry is high, brand awareness can be one of a businesss greatest assets.

A customer focus is designed to provide good customerssatisfaction makes sure staffs understands
their roles and responsibility. To have a good customer focus it usually involves a strong contributor to
ensure the business is successful and maintain an effective customers relation and service that will
put customers satisfaction first. Business should make sure that customers are getting best quality
and offers that can fill their needs and wants. If businesses do not develop customer loyalty and
satisfaction, they could lose their customers.
Low price and better quality
The food retail industry is a highly competitive market. More so than ever, organisations need to offer
customers value for money. Customers want the best quality products at the lowest possible prices.
With such tough competition it is vital for organisations to understand what their customers
want. Tescos understands that its customers want value for money but do not want to compromise
on quality. Tescos uses a lean approach to its business operations to offer its customers quality
products at competitive prices.
