Activity 1
Let's Promote!
1. Students were told to form a Hobby Club and they are going to promote their club
to the class.
2. Students work with a partner or in groups of three.
3. Each group had prepared their posters to promote their Hobby Club.
4. Each poster must include the following:
Name of the club
Logo
Activities (to be represented visually)
Suggested Answers/Remarks/Comments
This activity is to encourage teamwork and usage of the vocabulary and sentences
patterns learned.
5. Invite each group to share their posters and promote their clubs. Each member in
the group must be
given a chance to share.
6. The following are steps to help students to talk about their clubs. Ensure that
each student play a role
in promoting the club.
Greet the teacher and classmates. Introduce the members in the group.
One member introduces the club logo and name.
The next member explains the logo for the club.
Another member talks about the activities for the club.
The last member gives reasons why the students should join the club.
3. Ensure all groups get the opportunity to present their clubs.
4. Get students to vote on the best poster and give reasons for their choice.
