Properties and advantages of cards for fluid circuits on aircraft

Self-adhesive strips on TEV (vinyl covered cotton) cards. To identify fluids with colours and conventional symbols to NF L 40-200
standard.
They are available in width of 25 mm (7 mm for the symbol) and in lengths of 58 - 140 and 280 mm.
For ease of reading, alternate texts are inverted. Additional legends are available to indicate flow direction or danger (width 13 and
10,5 mm for the 3 lengths).
Every strip is fitted with a snap-off tab to avoid adhesive contamination when used .

LOCATION OF MARKERS :
"Markers shall be located at both ends of a pipeline component and at intervals along the
pipeline. Identification points shall be selected so that when the pipeline is installed at least one
marker is located adjacent to each servicing point and inspection door. Where a length of
pipeline is less than 600mm and the installed pipeline may be reasily traced, only one marker
need be used."

Properties and advantages of TEL-A-TUBES cards

Self-adhesive TEL-A-TUBE strips in TEV (PVC covered cotton). For identification of fluid pipes with conventional colours to NF X
08 - 100 standard.
As well as colours, the TEL-A-TUBE process offers a clear marking for easier fluid identification. TEL-A-TUBE is available in 4
sizes and can be over-printed on request.
TEL-A-TUBE is the only process allowing customers to choose the strip and marker colours according to their specific needs.
TEL-A-TUBE strips are complementary to basic pipe identification giving more precise information.
The arrow printed strips indicate the direction of flow.

then the print is performed in white or Alu. When no colour is stated, our technical
department chooses the most appropriate colour.
