PA Mambo Orquesta is a heavy metal, better known as a Salsa Dura band, based in Lancaster Pennsylvania.

This
band is the creation of trombonist Darnell Scott, who has participated in salsa bands around the area for over nine years.
PA Mambo Orquesta has made it their mission to share the sounds of Salsa Dura that is usually heard from bands that
could be found on the streets of New York City and Puerto Rico during the 1970's; for the dancing pleasure of the Salsa
community.
PA Mambo Orquesta is made up of 10 first class musicians, making them a modern day big band by contemporary standards. They are committed to unearthing and reviving the old school sound, and the kind of salsa that truly makes you want
to get up and dance. Salsa is meant for dancing and the truth is, salsa is a lot more fun if you can dance to it. PA Mambo
Orquesta hopes to reconnect salsa dancers and musicians in a meaningful way that reflects both the dancer's experience
for the genre of music that is called Salsa Dura.

Last night was extraordinary at Tellus 360 with Darnell Scott and the PA Mambo Orquesta!!! I had heard the band was
very good, but that doesnt even begin to describe what we heard last night!!! Each musician was better than the other
and the vocals were top shelf! Together they are flawless and on point and the songs played were fantastic! The dance
floor was packed all night long. Congratulations to you all and I hope we get to listen and dance to your music often. Super
well done! I loved it! Que Viva la Salsa!

At the present time PA Mambo Orquesta is attracting a lot of attention from organiztions and
venues that cater to the general market as well as the Latino market. In such a short time they
have made appearances at many local festivals and on the very popular Talento Local Internacional TV with Laina Neptune Of the radio show Salsa con Laina, which is aired weekly on MAS FM
104.7, New York. In addition to this, PA Mambo Orquesta was honored to share the stage with Yoko La Japonesa Salsera, at the Village in Lancaster. Needless to say, the band is
off to an excellent start.

There are benefits to having the right mix of people in the band.
Adrian Garcia, has brought his experience and directing expertise to assist Darnell as a band consultant and vocalist. As a former bandleader,
composer, and arranger for Sonora Los Fantasticos, he offers a different
perspective that can help the band grow without the needless errors
made by many bands when starting out. At this time Adrian is working
on some original tunes for the band that is sure to have that Heavy
Metal salsa dura sound that dancers have grown to enjoy,
