Dhanwantri Kerala Ayurved Training Program

In response to the increasing number of requests we receive each year from Five
Star Hotels / Spas / Health Clubs who wish to recruit authentic Ayurvedic Spa
Technicians, we at DKA have created an Ayurvedic Spa Training Program meant
to teach the basic ayurvedic massage therapy. Dhanvantari Kerala Ayurved has
tailored various courses to impart the knowledge of ayurveda to the common
man. Though India has a number of colleges imparting this knowledge to
graduate and undergraduate students, there was no solution available to the
common man. Sensing the need for an institute which could offer certificate
courses for the same, Dr. Namrata devised these special courses to impart
training to foreign as well as local people This program is also designed to train
therapists already proficient in Western massage and spa techniques. All
trainings are conducted personally by Dr. Namrata (BAMS – Mumbai). These
courses are meant to benefit person from all walks of life especially those
interested in working for five star hotels and health clubs & also to those who are
looking for an alternative career. The treatment of advanced diseases requires a
deep knowledge of ayurveda and should not be attempted with only a basic
knowledge of any medicinal science. These courses will empower you to make
the differentiation. The below mentioned training programs are just a small
combination offered by us. We can make specific changes as desired by
our trainees. He / She can choose subjects of his/her interest from the
following list of courses also. We can arrange customized training program
on subjects of personal interest.

Training Methodology:

The courses include practical training, expert lectures by highly qualified team of
doctors, individual demonstration on different procedures of Panchakarma
therapy on trainee him/herself and training material

There will be theory class and practical from Monday to Friday. One can register
for multiple courses at the same time.

We shall provide you with a certificate upon completion of the program - on

condition of attendance and completion of the course. We confirm that after your
training you will be able to practice as an Ayurveda Therapist in order to help
yourself and others.

Basic Ayurvedic Massage Course :

This course contains an introductory part about various terminologies used and
the basic principles of the science of Ayurveda. Main part of the course contains
information about ayurvedic form of massage called as "abhyanga". There is
practical and theoretical training of simple massage procedures as part of daily
regimen. This course is useful for those who want to know how to perform
massage as a form of ayurvedic treatment.

Course duration : 7 sessions of 90 mins each. CourseFee:5,000/-

Advanced Panchakarma Nursing Course :

Panchakarma is an ayurvedic form of treatment which contains various

procedures to be performed on the patient for e.g. oleation therapy (application of
oil), sudation therapy (application of steam), emesis therapy, purgation therapy,
nasal medication, medicated enema therapy and blood letting therapy. This
course contains information about this form of treatment and also training to
perform and assist the vaidya (doctor) while performing various panchakarma
techniques. This course is useful for those who are interested to know about and
be able to perform panchakarmas therapies.

Course Duration : 50 sessions of 2 hours each CourseFee:55,000/-

Ayurvedic Beauty Course :

There is a growing demand for herbal products globally. Many beauticians use
such products, but they are unaware of the ayurvedic herbs behind the herbal
preparations. Facts like if the herbs are used fresh then they will show much
more results, if they are used on ayurvedic principles like prakruti, dravya-guna-
karma then they will be more beneficial are often unknown. Also while using
herbal face packs using skin care products if you keep in mind the 7 layers of
skin as per ayurveda then you can show good results in wrinkles, black
colorations, roughness, hardness of skin etc. Similarly different hair oils are
required for different conditions like thinning of hair, excessive hair fall, rough hair
etc. In this course you will learn how to achieve all this without using any artificial
products, but only from pure herbs based on ayurvedic principles. Useful for
beauticians.
