Language Objectives for their specific
content area using content objectives and
ELD Standards while in content area

What is the purpose of a Language Objective,

and why do I need to have one?
Under CCSS, all content
teachers are also Language
Teachers.
If you teach a subject other
than ELD to English
Learners, then you teach
Integrated ELD.

What is the purpose of a Language Objective,

and why do I need to have one?
A Language Objective helps you determine
what embedded (integrated) language your
students will acquire/practice in your lesson.

What is the purpose of a Language Objective,
