I wish to apply for the post of a Head Teacher in the Municipality. I teach in the above mentioned
school. I have been teaching for the past 19 years and I have just been promoted to the rank of
Assistant Director 1.
I am a holder of bachelors degree in Business Education, specializing in Financial Accounting, from
the University of Education, Winneba. I have a strong commitment to education and excellence in
academic work.
I believe I will be able to execute the duties of a head efficiently and with dedication, as I have
worked closely with several heads over the years. I have a very good human relationship with my
colleagues and accepted by most of them. I have served on various committees in the school and
currently I am on the Time Table Committee.
I have also been active in my community. I am a Catechism Teacher in my church (Our Lady of
Apostles Catholic Church in Madina). I am also the First Vice President of the Ladys Auxiliary of
the Knights of St. John International, an international society in the Catholic Church. I belong to our
local community (REDCO) Welfare Committee where we mobilize members for the common good
of all members.
I will be ready to present any relevant documents for your attention and look forward to a favourable

issues in various areas between parents and their wards to improve academic performance.
