Hope is looking forward to something good in

the future. We are people who hope in
Christ. We have been called “Resurrection
People.” His resurrection was not only a
triumph over death, but is an even greater
victory considering that He was beaten down,
criticized, ridiculed, and died having His
divine powers challenged to the apparent
victory of His enemies. How sad and
senseless is the crucifixion without the “rest
of the story,” the final chapter, Jesus’ coming
back to life. He gives us not just good news
but great news - we too will rise after this life
for heaven.
May the joy of the resurrected Christ fill your
hearts forever.
Our Lady of Peace Guild will meet Monday,
April 5, at 12:00 p.m. Please bring your
sandwich. Remember beans and rice and
also any personal items for First Light
Women’s Shelter.

TREASURES
Trash ‘N Treasures is having another pot
luck dinner for all volunteers. Bring your
favorite dish along with a friend and join us
on April 22 at 6:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

St. Ann’s Guild will meet Wednesday, April

unwrapped baby gift for a baby’s layette,
clothing, fitted mattress pads, hooded towels,
baby wipes, etc. Cash gifts will also be
accepted. We will use these donations for
our Shower of Blessings. For more

Taste of Tailgating
The Our Lady of Sorrows (OLS) PTO is
sponsoring a fundraiser on Saturday, April
24, from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in the
Family Life Center. The "Taste of Tailgating"
fundraiser is an adult only gathering with
delicious tailgating food, cash bar, silent and
live auctions, music and gambling. Tickets
are $30.00 per person and include entrance
into the event, unlimited food, and $100.00 in
gambling chips. All proceeds from the event
will be used towards technology enrichments
throughout the school. Wear your favorite
team colors and come support OLS School.
Tickets may be purchased at the OLS school
office (879-3237) or at the door on the night
of the event.

High School PSR
will resume
meeting on
Sunday, April 11.
There will be an
interesting meeting for any high school
students who wants to attend summer camp.
The meeting will be Tuesday, April 6, in the
youth room from 6:45 p.m. until 7:45 p.m.
Middle School youth group will not be
meeting Monday, April 5. They will meet
Monday, April 19.
The Middle School Youth Group will have a
lock-in on Friday, April 30, from 6:00 p.m.
until 1:00 a.m. Forms will be available soon.

The Chapel needs permanent Committed
Adorers for:
