EPHESIANS

CHAPTER I
I like reading this chapter, it has many inspiring words for me. The most inspiring and interesting
words is when Paul said that we were chose to be in Jesus Christ even before the creation of the
world, and we were holy and blameless. I found this as an very contradictive statement in the
bible, because in the Christian religion, it is believed that human brought a natural sin since they
were born, but in here Paul clearly stated that we were holy and blameless since the beginning. I
think it is weird, why human still thinking that they are sinned. Jesus has saved us, He saved me,
so I choose to think from different point of view, I choose to think and act as a free man. I am a
free man, a man that is free from sin, because I have reborn with Jesus Christ, and I was reborn
as a holy and blameless. I believe that the true nature of every human is holy and blameless.

COLLOSIANS
CHAPTER 1
In this chapter, once again Paul stated several words that strengthen my thoughts about the nature
of human, in terms of sin. In this chapter, Paul stated that we are freed from sin and through the
death of Christ we become holy, without blemish and free of accusation. I believe that statement,
I believe that if Jesus has freed me, I am free, and therefore I should not act like a sinful man, but
instead, I should act like Jesus, because Jesus is in me and His holiness also come along to stay
in me. I should do things that fulfill the favor of God, things that are good and holy. And because
Jesus had freed me from sin, then I would have a wonderful and amazing life, I would live in
light, and the light is Jesus himself.

HEBREWS
CHAPTER 10
In this chapter, I like the verse that stated The law is only the shadow of the good things that are
coming, not the reality themselves. In the past, and I think still happening until now, people
think that the one who can repent our sin is other people, by means of several religious tradition
and religious duties, but in this chapter, all of those became clear, that sin will not be forgiven
because of our religious duties but because of the sacrifice of Christ. I think people too much
concern on the way, the form, the tradition, the ceremony, and less concern about the essence of
religion. For me, religion is the way to be peaceful and happy. If religion could not bring peace
and happiness, forget it, there is no point of having a religion. So, as a Christian, I think the most
important thing is to forgive myself, I see a lot of people cannot forgive themselves, they lived in
regrets and burdened by the sins that actually were already forgiven because of the sacrifice of
Christ. Christ has sacrificed himself for my sin. I can live in peace and happiness. I think that is
the true meaning of Christian religion, To live in Christ, and to live in Christ means that Jesus
Christ live in us and give peace and happiness in our heart.

CHAPTER 11
In this chapter, Faith was defined, he defined faith as a state when we being sure of what we
hope for and certain of what we do not see. I think it is a very good definition of faith. I totally
agree that everytime I hope for something, eventhough it did not happen in an instant, but God
builds my way towards it and God himself that leads me to it. In life, there are many things that
cannot be handled by myself, sometimes I feel like to give up and stressed up, but when I do,
God never let me down, He always hear and answer my prayer through several ways. I believe in
Him, and I always put my faith in Him whatever happens. I believe, even I cannot see Jesus, but
He is together with me, right now, in my heart, and He always leads my way and becomes the
light of my life.

CHAPTER 12
In this chapter, The verses were concerned about the God who disciplined His son. We are all the
children of God, so we must be discipline in terms of doing good deeds which is favorable in
Gods eyes. I think discipline is one of the most important qualities someone needs in life. It was
stated clearly in this chapter, that when we are discipline, it seems painful and unpleasant but it
will produce righteousness and peace at the end. Sometimes I can become indiscipline, but from
now on I will try to be discipline people, and with the help of God, I believe that I can build that
characteristic inside of me.
