ACT

CHAPTER I
In this chapter I see the insight of God in Jesus, because this chapter told me about how Jesus
arise to heaven. There are several questions which came to my mind after reading this chapter.
The first important question is when Jesus will return to the earth, because the bible said so.
Sometimes I am confused, whether that sayings about Jesus returning to earth has literal
meaning or has other meaning. And also, one other question is why Jesus would return to earth?
Would Jesus return to earth to save the human again from sin? I wonder, and this question
remains. I also thought, that Jesus has sacrificed His life in the cross for us, and so, we should be
freed from sin, but human still thought that they were sinned, the born sinned, they live sinned,
and they die sinned. I prefer to believe that Jesus, has came to me, and freed me from sin, so I
must live free from sin, and Jesus also became the holy spirit in me, just as He became the holy
spirit in the apostles.

CHAPTER 2
In this chapter, I learnt that God always help me by giving me His holy spirit, I get that insight
because of reading the story about the apostles during the pentacost. The apostles was preaching
not because their own power, but because of the power of holy spirit. So do I, when I have work
to do, maybe in my personal life, or in my study life, I will leave all of my work to God, and I
believe that the power that I have to accomplish my duty came from the holy spirit that God gave
to me. In this chapter, I also like the verse that said God will fill us with joy, It means that I
shouldnt seek the source of happiness from the outside, because God already provide all of that
for me. The joy and happiness came from Him. Many people seeks for happiness outside, but the
truth that I realized is, happiness come from the inside, it comes from my deepest heart, when my
heart is filled with God, and God is the center of my life.

CHAPTER 3
In this chapter, Peter heals the crippled beggar. What I like about this chapter is because when
Peter heal the beggar he said In the name of Jesus Christ, this phrase was quite popular
nowadays and many people often said that phrases. I think when I said the phrase In the name
of Jesus Christ it reminds me that Jesus is always in me. Not just His name, but His spirits
always live in me, the power to solve anything, the miracles that happen in my life, was not
happening because my own power, but because the power of Jesus Christ. In this chapter, what
Peter said also told me what is more precious other than silver and gold, which is health. People
seeks for money, but most often they do not concern about their health. Peter did not give the
beggar money, but he healed him. He knew what is more important than money, health and peace
in Jesus Christ. I thought, the most important think in the world is happiness, peace, and health.

CHAPTER 9
In this chapter, I learnt that God never see the past of the people. Human has the tendency to
dwell in the past, they cannot forgive their mistake that they made in the past, and they live in the
present moment by carrying the burden of the past mistake. But the good news is that God
forgave our sin, eventhough we didnt ask for it. This was what Jesus did to Paul, eventhough
Paul was an anti Christ which killed the followers of Jesus, but Jesus forgave Paul and used Paul
as His missionary to expand the ministry of Christ. This is what Jesus also did in my life, He
never remember my mistake, He always forgive my mistake, and help me to become a better
person in my life.

CHAPTER 10
In this chapter, God explain to Peter about impurity and cleanliness in life, Peter insisted not to
eat the animal God was given to Peter, but God said that it was clean because God made it so. I
like to further analyze what is the meaning of that verse, I personally thought that the verse wants
to teach me that the impurity and uncleanliness was not created by God, but created by human.
God created everything as pure and clean, but human that made them unclean and impure.
Human discriminate people, and think that one is better than the other, but from this chapter, I
also learnt that God do not discriminate people, everyone is same in the eyes of God. So I should
also act like what God does, which is never discriminate people, and respect everyone like I
respect myself.

CHAPTER 15
In this chapter, I am very interested with the verse which said that we were saved by the grace of
Jesus Christ. It means that we were saved unconditionally, Jesus has unlimited love and grace
toward us, so He saved us. By reading this chapter, I realized, that I should not be ashamed of my
sin and my mistakes, I should confess all of my sin and my mistakes to Jesus and I believed that
Jesus will always show His love for me, and His love will set me free from my sin and my
mistakes and I will be saved. And in this chapter. I also can imply that the peace and grace from
God is beyond every law, The law was created by human but the peace and grace was given by
God.

ROMANS
CHAPTER 1
In this chapter, I have found a question to be answered. The question is about the verse that said
about God giving us the shameful lust, which means men has lust against men and women
exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. What I do not understand is if homosexuality was
created by God, so why it was called sin? If the lust against men was created by God it means
that there is no way for a man that bear this homosexuality sin to avoid it. But in this chapter, I
also like one verse that was said by Paul which about the grace and peace given to us from Jesus
Christ. Christ already gave peace and grace inside of us, so I realized that I shouldnt bother
searching peace and graced outside of Christ. I can feel peaceful and graceful when I am
dwelling inside of Jesus Christ.

CHAPTER 4
In this chapter, I learnt about faith. Paul said that when a man put his faith in God, it is credited
as his righteousness. They will be blessed and their sins will be covered. I do not have to do
anything to be forgiven and blessed by God, God does not require me to do anything, I just need
to believe in him and put my faith in him. I also believe that we are justified because of the
raising of Jesus Christ. For me, it simply means that the we are raised along with the Jesus
Christ, we are raised against sin, we have conquered our sins, and it means that I should live in
righteousness and not live in sin anymore.
