I, the undersigned, confirm that the address and contact number provided below for the delivery of
my student visa are up-to-date and accurate. If there are any changes to the address, I will notify the
IASP office immediately. I will be responsible for all costs arising out of my provision of outdated
and/or incorrect address.
PART 3 - Pledge
I, the undersigned, pledge the following for the duration of my stay in Hong Kong as specified in my
student visa application:
(b) To be a student only in the International Asian Studies Programme (IASP) at The Chinese University of
Hong Kong;
(c) Not to take up any employment, whether paid or unpaid, or establish or join in any business;
(d) To leave Hong Kong on the expiry of stay granted by the Hong Kong Immigration Department.
According to Point 19(e) of the Guidance Notes - ID(E)937, you are required to send your own bank
statement (OR your parent/guardian's bank statement if you do not have one) to the Hong Kong
Immigration Department for consideration of your student visa application. If your parent/guardian's
bank statement is the one to be submitted, this form must be completed by your
parent/guardian and returned to the IASP office.
Points to note:
1. The copy of bank statement must show the account balance for the last three consecutive
months.
2. The copy of bank statement must show a minimum balance of HK$20,000* (or equivalent
amount in other currencies) for a term student who will be living in the University.
*HK$40,000 for a year student
