PRODUCTION SCHEDULE/CAPACITY

Production is the process of converting raw materials, labor and overhead into finished
goods. It is necessary to have a smooth flow in the business. Scheduling helps keep costs down
and operates according to the budget. A thorough planning must be done in order to attain the
desired production outputs.
In relation thereto, a schedule with the activities to be done in the production should be
prepared to estimate and identify the amount of time to allocate for each process. Basically, the
gathering of damaged or unsalable vegetables from different suppliers will start at---. By --- all of
the vegetables needed for production has already arrived at the factory. The production will start
at and will end at --. To attain consistency in the production process, every worker should have
an assigned task per process. The production schedule is shown on the subsequent page:

Legends
From to --, # All of the vegetables gathered will be sorted according to the level of
damage. Severely damaged vegetable will be disposed. For those with less damage, such part
will be removed through cutting or slicing. Now, the vegetables will be classified according to its
nutritional content. Workers will wash the vegetables thoroughly to remove any dirt and proceed
to the chopping step. ^ Vegetables will be chopped in tiny cubes. Chopped vegetables will be
weighed. At --, workers will have their break.
After weighing, chopped vegetables will be dried in the drying machine for minutes.
While the drying, the workers will now proceed to the fermenting process. The fermentation has
a span of 7-10 days that will result to a concoction, an additive to the feeds.
Mixing is the last step wherein the dried
Quality check will be done after the mixing process. The time frame for the quality check
is already included in the time frame allotted for the corresponding process.
The manufacture of organic feeds is a rigorous process for machine and labor. The
number of sacks of feeds produced is dependent on the number of machines and labor
employed.

the production capacity shall be maintained because it is still unsure if the product would really
hit in the market.
