There are 5 different type of meditation techniques through Hinduism, Christianity and Buddhism

Concentration- Focusing on an object or nothing, this is to stop distraction.

a different direction. You need to refocus your thoughts, this is called disciplined thinking.
Mindfulness Meditation- Is the most powerful meditation, it helps you to learn a simple way to pay
attention to relieve pain, anxiety and depression.
Heart Centered Meditation- Releases your fears, sadness and negative energy that may exist, this is
called heart chakra meditation. You should choose a quiet place, sit up straight, and focus on
your
heart while you inhale and exhale slowly and over a period of time repeating this it will
Creative Meditation or Visualization- Helps you to focus and strengthen different thoughts in your
mind; to name a few; fearlessness, compassion, gratitude, love, empathy and patience.
Healing- This may include an ordained minister or an individual placing hands on you or distant
healing which people pray for you to strength your faith-you have faith you can overcome
obstacles in
your life.
Enegry- There are two types of Energy Healing; Moves throughout our body and must have belief
that the practitioner has the ability to alter your energy patterns which may involve touching
(acupressure and acupuncture or Reiki where they may touch you or hover their hands
over your body

Meditation techniques started in Indian over 5,000 years ago and in the 20th century 1960 and 1970
researches and professors stated researching meditation to see the positive affects it had.
Meditation can be used in different ways, here are a few; to relieve stress, have inner peace

and have a better relationship with our heavenly father, family and friends. Helps with
