Alan Peter "Companyero" Schramm Cayetano

He was born on the 28th of October 1970 to of the late Senator Renato
"Compaero" Cayetano and German-American former school teacher Sandra
Schramm, Cayetano resides with his family in Bagumbayan, Taguig City. His wife,
Maria Laarni Lopez Cayetano, is currently the Mayor of Taguig City. His older
sister, Pia, is also a Senator. His youngest brother, Lino is the incumbent
representative of the 2nd District of Taguig while his other brother Ren is a former
councilor of Muntinlupa.
He studied at De La Salle Zobel during his elementary and high school days. He took up BA
Political Science at the University of the Philippines, Diliman and graduated in year 1993 and further studied
Law (Juris Doctor) at the Ateneo de Manila University (graduated in 1997) as Silver Medalist.
Cayetano first served as councilor from 1992 to 1995, vice mayor in 1998, and congressman from
1998 to 2004. He supposed to have won the vice mayoral race in 1995, but didn't get to immediately sit as
vice mayor due to a poll fraud case filed against him. The case proceedings took a long time, until a favorable
decision was handed down in 1998. He became vice mayor officially with only 10 days left in his term.
"His frustrating and short-lived tenure as vice mayor in 1998 made him decide to seek a mandate to
represent the people of Taguig as a Congressman for the Lone Congressional District of Taguig and Pateros,"
his Senate profile says.
Cayetano claims to be "among the youngest, if not the youngest, in his political sphere." His Senate
profile highlights the following:
youngest councilor at age 22

youngest vice mayor at age 24

youngest representative in the 11th Congress at age 27

youngest chairman of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee at age 37

youngest Senate minority leader at age 39

He started so young in politics that he was, in fact, still in school in the early parts of his political career.
He was in his junior year as a political science student in UP Diliman when he won as councilor, and went to
the Ateneo Law School when he ran for vice mayor.
In a March 2013 interview with the ABS-CBN News Channel,
Senator Alan Peter Cayetano (Nacionalista Party), said that "I want to
be president of this country." In September 2015, after several
surveys saw him trailing in the presidential race, said that he is
withdrawing from the presidential election, and would instead focus
for the vice presidency, preferably as the running mate of either Mar
Roxas or Rodrigo Duterte.

Jejomar "Jojo" CabauatanBinay, Sr

He is the fifteenth Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines under
President Benigno S. Aquino III and is one of five remaining candidates in the 2016
Philippines presidential election. He was appointed by former President Corazon
Aquino as officer-in-charge of Makati City from 1986-1987. After his assignment,
he was elected as Makati City mayor from 1988-1998. During this term, he acted as
the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman from 1990 to
1991. In 2001, he was reelected as mayor until the end of his term in 2010. He
resigned as Chairman of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council
and as Presidential Adviser on Overseas Filipino Workers in June 22, 2015.
Binay is a member of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA), which is a coalition between the
PwersangMasang Pilipino and the PartidoDemokratiko Pilipino - Lakasng Bayan. It was founded as an
electoral alliance in 2012, and later became an official political party in 2014.
He is an IskolarngBayan ,a term referring to the students of the University of the Philippines (UP)
system. For high school, the Vice President graduated from the UP Preparatory School. He then obtained his
Political Science degree from UP Diliman in 1962.The year after, Binay pursued law in the UP College of
Law and graduated in 1967. He passed the bar examinations in 1968 and eventually became a human rights
lawyer.
As a human rights lawyer, Binay provided free legal assistance to political detainees during the
Martial Law period under then-president Ferdinand Marcos. For being among the strongest critics of the
Marcos regime, Binay himself was eventually arrested and detained at the Ipil Rehabilitation Center.
Binay was also one of the political allies of former president Corazon Cory Aquino and a member of the
August Twenty-One Movement (ATOM).
His ties with Cory contributed to Senator Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr's refusing Binays offer to
be his vice presidential candidate. Ironically, the man behind several coup attempts against Mrs Aquino is
now the running mate of Binay: Senator Gringo Honasan. After the 1986 revolution, Binay was appointed
officer-in-charge of Makati by former president Corazon Cory Aquino, the mother of President Benigno
Noynoy S. Aquino III.
In 2014, Binay said his net worth was P60.25 million. Binay's Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and
Net Worth (SALN) showed a slight increase in his net worth from P60.12 million in 2013 to P60.25 million in
2014.
Binay is a controversial political figure. Prior to the corruption allegations thrown in the Senate,
Binay faced other controversies.
Binay counters allegations of corruption against him at the Senate Blue Ribbon sub-committee
hearings held in the Makati City Hall Building 2.Investigations regarding all these allegations of corruption
are being conducted by the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Philippine Senate, and the Office of the
Ombudsman.

Binay is currently facing accusations by former vice president of the Boy Scouts of the
Philippines (BSP), Ernesto Mercado.
Currently, Binay's camp is denying these allegations.

Rodrigo "Rody" RoaDuterte

He is one of the popular, if not the most popular, city mayor in the country today. Mayor
Duterte was born on March 28, 1945 in Maasin, Southern Leyte. His father served as the
Governor of Davao while his mother was a school teacher. He studied at Sta. Ana
Elementary School in Davao and then spent his high school at Holy Cross of Digos. After
earning his high school diploma, he studied in Lyceum of the Philippines for his
tertiary education, and later on continued studying law in San Beda College. He passed the
bar exam shortly after. As early as 1986, Mayor Duterte has been active in the political area
as he served as the appointed vice mayor/officer in charge of the city following the People Power Revolution.
He then designated deputy mayors who represented Moro and Lumad, which were later on replicated in other
areas of the Philippines. He has served as a Congressman, ran as mayor, vice mayor, and mayor again. He was
never out of politics.Mayor Duterte has won several awards including the National Literacy Hall of Fame for
bagging the awards on Outstanding Local Government Highly Urbanized category for three times. Davao
City is known nationwide because of its peace and order. This is mainly due to the rules imposed by the City
Council members that were fully supported by Mayor Duterte. Among those rules are the liquor ban in the
city from 1:00am to 8:00am; requiring commercial establishments to set up CCTV cameras; and strict speed
limits to vehicles within Davao City. The Davao City Mayor also landed on headlines for leading the citys
humanitarian efforts. After the onslaught of Super Typhoon Yolanda, Davao City was among the first local
government units that responded. There are several reasons to love or hate this Mayor of Davao City. But
the imposition of strict rules in his jurisdiction undeniably improved peace and order and public safety.
He is a Filipino lawyer and politician of Visayan descent. Duterte is among the longest-serving
mayors in the Philippines and has been mayor of Davao City, a highly urbanized city on Mindanao island, for
7 terms, totalling more than 22 years. He has also served as vice-mayor and congressman in the city.
On November 21, 2015, Duterte declared his candidacy for President of the Philippines in the upcoming 2016
election after a period of banter. As early as the first quarter of 2015, Duterte made hints to the media of his
intention to run for president in the 2016 elections. However, he denied these plans numerous times amidst
clamor from his supporters for him to run. On October 16, 2015, on the last day of filing for certificates of
candidacy, Martin Dio filed his intent to run for president under Duterte's party, PDP-Laban. Duterte's
supporters clamored for the possibility that Duterte be fielded as a substitute candidate for Dio, in the event
that Dio gets disqualified or withdrew. On October 26, 2015, Duterte said on an interview that the deadline
for his last decision if he will seek the presidency is on December 10. He also warned the people to abide by
the law if he wins. On October 27, PDP-Laban has made it official that Duterte will substitute as the party's
presidential bet if aspirant Martin Dio withdraws or is disqualified by the Commission of Elections
(Comelec) from the 2016 race. Two days later, PDP-Laban standard bearer Martin Dio officially withdrew
his presidential bid and named Duterte as his substitute because theres a possibility that Dio might be
declared as a nuisance candidate by the COMELEC.
On November 21 in a private gathering with fraternity brothers from San Beda College of Law,
Duterte formally announced his presidential bid and also finally accepted Alan Peter Cayetano's offer to be his
running mate. On November 27, 2015, Duterte filed his certificate of candidacy for president through his
representative Atty. Salvador Medialdea in Metro Manila shortly after withdrawing his COC for Davao City
mayoralty re-election. On December 17, Comelec officially recognized
Dutertes substitution of Martin Dio as PDP-Labans presidential
candidate for the May 2016 elections.

Mary Grace Natividad Sonora Poe Llamanzares (born September 3, 1968) is the adopted daughter
of Filipino actors Susan Rocesand Fernando Poe, Jr. She served as chairperson of the Movie and
Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) from 2010 to 2012 and in the Philippine
Senate since 2013.
She initially studied at the University of the Philippines Manila, where she majored in development
studies, but moved to Boston College in Massachusetts, United States where she finished a degree
in political science and has spent much of her adult life inFairfax, Virginia.
In 2004, her adoptive father ran for the Philippine presidency against the incumbent, Gloria MacapagalArroyo, but was defeated; he died months later. On April 8, 2005, Grace returned to the Philippines after
learning that her father had died. She began pursuing her father's rights over the results of the election
and campaigned against alleged electoral fraud.
Poe ran for a seat in the Philippine Senate during the election in 2013 as an Independent affiliated with
the Team PNoy coalition of Aquino. She ended up winning more votes than other candidates and over
20 million votes, ahead of Loren Legarda, who previously topped two elections.
