'Through the eyes of your Car.....'. This FREE download is a fun and easy way to capture some
of the stories of your life in relation to the vehicles you have owned.
The Chronology of a life and the passage of time are often easier to recall when there is a com-
mon theme to refer to. Most of us will be able to re-trace our lives by the vehicles we have
owned or been associated with. You may have stories about your first wagon, a special bicycle
or a particular motorcycle. Our vehicles can hold a special place in our hearts, just as people do,
because of the memories in time they own.
The goal is to think about your life chronology and use the wide variety of transportation vehi-
cles you have experienced as a way to get the Personal History writing process started. So just
put pen to paper and relive those days once more!
This excerpt is divided into three parts:
I. Vehicle Vital Statistics

This part allows you to detail the hard facts about your vehicles and will provide a great
reference point for the story telling later on.
II. The Story of a Car...

Here you will find the question sheets. Each page has a question at the top with space for
your answer. Don't feel like you have to answer all these questions, write as little or as much
as you want. We have also provided a blank page for storytelling outside the scope of the
set questions.
III. The Story of a Car...Photos

Finally there is space for you to place photos of your vehicles. The memo section allows you
to write a short description of the details of the photo e.g. when it was taken, who or what
is in the photo, etc.
This download allows enough room to detail one vehicle and the stories of your life during the
time you owned that vehicle. Please feel free to print it as many times as you wish for all other
vehicles you may want to write about.
These pages can be inserted into The Personal History Book itself or can be kept as a stand
alone tribute to your life and the vehicles you have loved and lost.
