Im just a citizen. Terrorism is within our shores in full view. It is being openly condoned by our leaders.

Im just a citizen who is a Voter, a Patriot and a sixties Vet, and who happens to be Republican and a
Trump supporter. It is not the latter position which causes me to write this note. I write because I am a
Citizen and a Patriot who is seriously alarmed by what I see.
On last Friday night, Terrorist Led Violence was brought to Chicago in a deliberate attack on the Peoples
Right to Assemble and to Exercise Free Speech. Be not mistaken, the violent attack was well-organized
and well-funded by Terrorists. Among others, it was funded by George Soros, and was led on-site by
convicted felon and Domestic Terrorist Bill Ayers. Those of us who lived through and remember the
Sixties both with fondness and with some amount of trepidation, know that Bill Ayers founded the
Domestic Terrorist Group Weather Underground which organized murder, police station bombings, and
attempts to bomb the Pentagon. This man, who among other things is a self-declared communist, wrote
a racist terror-based book which he dedicated to Sirhan Sirhan, Robert F Kennedys assassin. Last Friday
night in Chicago at Trumps Rally, with microphone in hand, this man led the charge of violence against
the Peoples Right To Assemble and To Freedom of Speech.
And yet, some political pundits, and worse yet the Five Presidential candidates (2 Dems & 3 Reps) blamed
Trump for the attacks. They said that his speech needs to be modified and that he brought this on
himself. Kasich, Cruz, Rubio, Clinton and Sanders are running for the highest office in the land, and
opportunistically each of them has and continues to voice support of these terrorist activities by
blaming the attack on the victim Trump for his use of Speech. They should be ashamed. Cruz claims
to be a Constitution defender and yet opportunistically has chosen to ignore this Terrorist based gross
violation of the 1st Amendment. It is not just a terrorist violation against Trump. It is a terrorist violation
against We The People. Even Kasich, who heretofore has said he would remain above the fray, is blaming
Trumps speech for this organized terrorist attack against our basic rights.
There is nothing wrong with Protest. Protests have been part of our democracy and political process
since our countrys birth. But Terrorist Based Violence against our basic rights is NOT OK. Ronald Reagan
knew this, when in the 80s, he swiftly sent Police and the National Guard to Berkeley California to stop
violent terror-based student uprisings against the University. In this country it is not OK to organize
violence in order to stop free speech. Terrorist Groups responsible for Friday nights well-funded and
well-organized attack now brag that they were able to stop the Trump rally. They openly encourage
continuance of that activity in other cities. Cruz, Kasich, Rubio, Clinton and Sanders support that
Terrorist position by their outrageous condemnation of Trump, the victim. His speech is enthusiastic
and his supporters are enthusiastic. Whether you agree with him or not, your view does NOT justify terror
based violence against his right to speak or The Peoples Right To Listen. Such attitude from our leaders
will result in anarchy. Anarchy is the targeted goal of these Terrorists. The actions of the five candidates
and some pundits thus far lead to achievement of that goal.
As a citizen of this great country, I expect our leaders, including those running for its highest office, to
stand in defense of our most Basic Right to Freedom of Speech. To not stand in its defense is shameful.
If allowed to continue without leadership condemnation, these Terrorist Groups will move on to other
venues of their choosing. When they dont like what is said by another individual or by another group,
perhaps within a certain church, or a synagogue or mosque, or even at a community group meeting, if not
checked, they will extend their terror at their own choosing. We all need to be aware and step up against

this terror which exists openly within our shores and was demonstrated so violently in Chicago last
Friday night.
Our public leaders, whether in office or running for office, need to speak out vigorously against these
terrorist groups and call for their condemnation.
BE NOT MISTAKEN THAT WHAT TOOK PLACE IN CHICAGO LAST FRIDAY IS A TERRORIST ATTACK AGAIST
OUR BASIC FREEDOMS OF THE RIGHT TO ASSEMBLE, THE RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH, AND THE RIGHT TO
LISTEN. A CALL FOR CONDEMNATION OF THE VICTIM IS NOT ONLY INAPPROPRIATE, BUT IT IS A CALL
FOR SUPPORT OF THE TERRORIST ATTACK ITSELF.
WHETHER THEY ARE IN OFFICE OR RUNNING FOR OFFICE, SHAME ON THOSE WHO HAVE BLAMED THE
VICTIM AND CONTINUE TO DO SO.
I write because I am a Citizen and a Patriot who is seriously alarmed by what I see.
