Completed numerous projects that required different skill set and technologies for infrastructure. Work
that included developing/responding to RFP, assessment, strategy planning, migration, cost analysis,
operations, business case and deployment. There were projects for services assessment and
management/delivery Some of the projects that highlight the variety were:
IT Risk -ITIL Standards-Security assessments for Leading North America Transport
Company
Lead an initiative to assess risks with existing process and services for Infrastructure with
onshore and offshore teams. It required working on multiple mediums e.g. TDM, fiber with
MPLS, satellite/microwave in addition to sensor system for tracks and supporting devices. The
process compliance was mapped to ITIL standards.
Developed an approach to cover security, project management and future plans.
Existing setup analysis and the risk mitigation results were developed.
Recommendations were made to integrate security and multiple network monitoring
systems like CA Spectrum, Solarwinds and custom built monitoring systems
It was first network related work with client and was delivered on time with quality that
lead to future network projects.
IT strategy-architecture -design -Outsourcing-Shared infrastructure for African
Country Financial Services
Selected to be Technical lead from out of region of host country to assess and design a shared
infrastructure and services for all banks and financial services for host country.
Created the project plan and approach for solution.

Developed requirements after studying the existing infrastructure that uses microwave,
mobile systems. Conducted workshops and meetings with more than 30 financial
institutions to create requirements statements for approval from CIO/CTO of all banks.
Developed RFI for carriers to devise realistic high-level design with security features
required for banks.
Crafted a migration plan for banks to help them move from their own network to a
shared one using MPLS at core. Added Service management to streamline operations.
Business case was developed that was accepted all banks and federal government
officials
Approval given by federal government for deployment phase based on quality and indepth work done in first phase.

Led the team for migration from centralized data center to cloud (Office 365, ServiceNow and

realistic view of site readiness
Developed a new migration plan based on the actual state that helped client save around
25% of cost
Recommended a training plan for users before migration to avoid post migration issues
Applications and IT services development for Satellite Imagery Company
Lead to develop a plan for single domain post-merger of two companies based on applications
and network services.
Created a plan after analysis of applications for future capabilities. It covered the
applications and licenses that can be merged or retired with timeline. It increased the
savings from 30% to 45%.
Recommended solutions for DHCP, DNS and IP address management system.
The client provided additional work on service management to comply with ITIL
standards for fault, performance and configuration with integration to ticketing system.
Virtualization-SDN-data center for Technology Tools Manufacturer
Project Lead to develop a network security solution for deployment approach of new security
standards that were based on virtual environment.
Developed a solution based on fact that VMware was in use. VMware NSX features were
highlighted for network services with new enterprise security standards. Approach to
SDN was introduced with VMWare NSX.
Leveraged the distributed firewall to manage traffic between servers and access to the
network.

Consultant Infrastructure and Service Management
Worked consulting on short term project for companies:
Deployed SaaS and PCI compliance for a software company. Was a single point of contact for
customers solution and worked with cross-functional teams from different countries for
customers solutions. The work of SaaS, PCI and solutions was completed without adding any
resources in USA. The solution was based on Cisco firewall and F5 load balancer in Oracle
environment
Implemented service management tools for city transport authority that was on hold due to
vendor, technology deployment timeline and operations team issues. Implemented a process
that kept all parties in sync for deployment. The service management tools used the suite from
CA- CA Spectrum, CA eHealth etc.

new/modified network services. Managed SLAs for shared managed services within a hybrid network
using landline and satellite system. Worked with a team that designed and supported ISP setup;
formulated an environment for managed network and hosting services.
Managed project to deploy network access to one access location per day for a fast growing
retail chain; with chain reaching 10,000 stores mark introduced and moved client to managed
