V Summary, Conclusion, and Recommendation

1.Introduction
Recently the municipality of Mariveles renovated the old building
of Polytechnic University of the Philippines Bataan into Mariveles
District Hospital and conducted a medical mission. Because of the
citizens are now no longer away from the modern medication making
them more aware in medicines they should take up. This event also
opens their curiosity about the importance of medicine, and its
effectiveness.

The researcher proposed generic and branded medicine as the

subject of comparison for the statistic research purpose that will be
discussed on the following pages:

2.Theoretical Framework
People are in big trouble determining the right medicine to buy if
they must obey the brand name written in the prescription. Most of
the Doctors wrote the prescription to their patients are mostly
branded medicine so that patients are force to buy expensive drugs
even there are cheaper but just the same as branded.

3. Statements of the Problems

1. How can Statistics helps customers?
2. What is the purpose of this research of this topic?
3. What is the Benefits of the Study?

4.Significance of the study

This section will provide brief description on the various
significances of the study given the three categories educational,
technological and economic.
To Students. The proposed study serves the students as their
reference or guide in creating their program. It will also help students
taking statistical subject to give them idea.

To teachers. The proposed study will help teachers to have a deeper

understanding to the said statistical lessons. By this study they will
come up with easier and powerful process.
To future researchers. The proposed study will benefits and help the
future researchers as their guide. The study can also open in
development of this study.

5. Assumption and Hypothesis

As we go along to our research we can conclude that people nowadays are
becoming more concern about the different drugs they need to purchased on
the market is not like before that many individuals relies on herbals and fake
doctors or quackery. As we go through Marced pharmacy we see that many of
the customer prefer to buy the Generic one by the reason it is much cheaper
and according to them its effectiveness is just the same to the branded one.

6. Definition of Terms
Generic - a consumer product having no brand name or registered
trademark.
Branded - a trademark or distinctive name identifying a product,
service, or organization.
Medical mission - travel by a group of physicians for the purpose of
making a special study or of undertaking a special project.
Modern medication - a kind of medication using advance technology
for medical treatment, especially a medicine or drug.

7. Scope and Limitation

The researcher gathers data on march 11, 2016 at San Carlos,
Mariveles, Bataan providing that they conduct a survey to the Marced
Pharmacy.

On this part we want to achieve the information that we needed in

order to make a reliable data for the future researchers, professors
and students for them to get an idea when it comes to handling
business enterprise.

8. Conceptual Framework
Why is statistics very important in everyday life? Business
statistics is the science of good decision making in the face of
uncertainty and is used in many disciplines such as financial analysis,
economic, auditing, production and operations including services
improvement, and making research
These sources feature regular repetitive publication of series of
data. This makes the topic of time series especially important for
business statistics. It is also a branch of a applied statistics working
mostly on data collected as a by-product of doing business or by
government agencies. It provides knowledge and skills to interpret
and use statistical techniques in a variety of business application. A
typical business statistics course is intended for business majors, and
covers statistical study, descriptive statistics (collection, description,
analysis and summary of data)

II. Review related studies and literature

1.Review literature
Marced pharmacy is a drugs establishment carrying branded and generic
medicines located at the center of the municipality. This store, commonly sell
drugs, as well as miscellaneous items such as confectioner, cosmetics, office
supplies, and magazines and occasionally refreshments. Thus, consumers and
entrepreneurs alike are always on the lookout for better, wider, friendlier and
more natural alternatives as source of affordable quality medicines that is not
only accessible to their homes and communities but answers needs for
convenience and high levels of customer service. Likewise, the industry is ripe

for more players that can offer aspiring business owners high demand products
through the FARMACIA NI DOK franchise opportunity which has a proven
business system.

2. Respondents of the study

The researchers gathered data from the seller of the particular drugs. Also
the said information was come from the customers on which they are the
consumers and the one who choose what brand they prefer to.
3. Technique and Instrument
As we proceed to gather information we used open-ended question in
making a survey, which it is designed to encourage a full, meaningful
answer using the subjects owned knowledge and/or feelings. First, identify
and select potential sample members. Then, contact sample individuals
and collect data from those who are hired to reach (or reluctant to
respond). Third, evaluate and test question. Followed by selecting the
mode for posing questions and collecting responses. Next, supervise
interviewers (if they are involved). Finally, adjust survey estimate to
correct for identify errors.
4. Treatment of the data
As the researchers continued seeking for reliable answer the result of the
previous survey is the seller computer there sales monthly to be able for
them to know the gain and lost and how they are going to apply marketing
strategy.

Recommendation
The Marced Pharmacy have been created with the available resources
and information about the generic and branded drugs. The
researchers believe that there is always something to improve
especially to the way how people will see the significance of both
generic and branded drugs. Those are recommendations that will
help the customers to be more knowledgeable in terms of buying

Conclusion
Based on this research we as a researchers can conclude that people in
the town of Mariveles prefer to buy Generics drugs than to those branded
drugs. For the reason, not only because generic drugs are more cheaper but it
is also more effective.
