In BBA course, we are supposed to visit any industry and learn particular

The BLOSSOM KITCHENWARE PVT LTD It is a small scale unit.
They manufacture the different type of Stove. They have 13 brand name of
stove, 4 brand name of stove is main and own product of them, which are Vikas,
Vishal, Nutan and Vinus. Other is their franchises. It has a workshop, die room,
color- room, welding room and laboratory room.

1.2

HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT

The BLOSSOM KITCHENWARE PVT. LTD. Established in the


year 1990 by strong efforts of Mr. Pankaj R. Rathod. When unit was establishing
before the 12 years, it was in partnership firm but then it become in Pvt. Ltd.

Before starting the BLOSSOM KITCHENWARE, the owner had business


of the chemical at the Gondal for 3 to 4 years. Later on he switched over from the
chemical to this type of the industrial area. Then he thinks about the new
business of the stove. The owner has choose the stove business because on that
time the storage of the gas as well as for the turning point of the wooden cutting
is not efficient for the nature. So only one good way is kerosene stove and the
reason is that the middle class person user easily this is one reason of them so he
started this business.

At present the proprietor can successfully, running the business of stove.


Previously the organization was manufacturing their types of the stove but today
it is producer 13 types of stoves, which shows the development of the unit and
bright future in the year to become.+

In case of any manufacturing company, any one person cannot handle the
operation of company; promoters cannot be able to avoid this situation.
Promoters choose a person with the help of shareholder are known as

that failed due to wrong location in spite of great efficient management. It must
be remarked that the business unit may be successfully running a particular
location.
In 1984, Gujarat Government has declared Shapar, Veraval as a
backward zone, which belong to district Rajkot and taluka kotda Sangani. Its total
area is about 30 km. in circle Government of Gujarat has also given special
benefit

area of 35000 square feet of construction building, and 4200 yard is the Land.
It is small scale unit industry should be located where it gets infrastructure
facilities like transportation, power, cheaply and adequate labour available at
reasonable rate.

In every country Government adopts a different policy for measuring the


size of the Unit. In the new policy, Government adopt investment measuring
policy. On the basis of capital investment the industry can be divided into the
following part:

The industry whose investment is does not exceed 3 crore which comes
under the small-scale industry. THE BLOSSOM KITCHENWARE INDUSTRY
has investment of 1 crore. So it comes under the small-scale industry.

1.1 Introduction
Production means creation of utilities and it covers all the activities of
procurement, allocation and utilization of resources such as labor, energy,
materials, equipment, machinery etc.
Production must be operated in an economic and efficient manner because
cost of production is a vital factor in facing market competition and in ensuring
normal profit or return on investment.

1.3 MANUFACTURING PROCESS

TANK

I.

They make the tank from CRC steel sheet and shaped it according to
dies then they cut the additional steel sheet.

II.

Now they make and embossed the upper body of the tank they make
the five whole upper side of the tank. Then they fit the fuel cap of
the kerosene.

III.

Now they joint the upper part of the tank and lower part of the tank,
and they fit the fuel contain in the tank.

I.

Now process will be start for the wick. They cut round shape of the
steel sheet and embossed. Now they make the fourteen holes in the
plate of fourteen holes four hole not.

. After it they make 10 round pipe and welding it with the plate and
deject. Now the record pipe of the wick is jointed with the wick
controller then through the fly not joint the burner and tank.

STAND

I. Firstly they round strips then they make three pillars of stands and joints
two round ships with three pillars. Then they put under the stand
this pillar guard.

They cut the steel sheet according to maser then they make many
small holes in it and then band round it and put on it cap which has
one small hole and joint it.

1. 1 INTRODUCTION

Manpower is the most important resources among all the resources. How
many finds you have how much technological advancement manpower. So, man
is most important resource so a medium is required to manage these resources.
So they are to manage this resource. So there is a personal department.

Management is the development of people and not mere direction of


resources. Human resources are the greatest assets for any business enterprise.
The essential ingredient of management is leadership and direction of people.

It is primarily concerned with manpower resources or inputs. It is


planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling manpower in order to
contribute individual and social goods to the business organization.

RECRUITMENT & SELECTION

Recruitment is convinced with the identification of sources from where


personal can be employed and motivating them to apply for employment.

For recruitment of officers and staff members, on advertisement is given


in the newspaper, mentioning the requirement of that personnel department
receives applications. These applications are classified as per the concerned
department head. The suitable applicants ate them called for personal interview,
which is connected by the interview committee, which normally comprises of two
persons from the personnel department and one from the administrative
department and the connected department head. Here recruitments end and
selection start.

Selection is a process in which the choice of person is to be made out of

1.3 TRAINING AND DEVELOPEMENT

Once in a year training is given to the workers. This is given on the all
India level with only difference in language under All India Workers Education
Scheme. It was actually started in Baroda on 10 th September, 1996 and then in
Ahmedabad in 1947. During this training period, workers are given information
regarding provident fund, bonus, gratuity and other rights.

Human resource is most important resource of all the resources. So if this


resource is sound and strong it ultimately leads to higher productivity of the
organization.

In the BLOSSOM KITCHENWARE Pvt. Ltd. have no separate


department for training. They give the training through senior employee. The
new employee be known about work by the superior.

WAGES AND SALARY

The basic purpose of wage and salary administration is to maintain


equitable wage and salary structure. The employee is working to get monetary
returns, so it should be fair and enough.

Proper and regular wage and salary helps to avoid industrial disputes and
decrease in productivity, in indirectly motivates the workers and increases his
efficiency.

In The Blossom Kitchenware Pvt. Ltd. the finance department


handles wage and salary affairs. The company gives the salary and wage daily,
weekly and monthly. It has also allowance the petroline the daily wage generally
is Rs. 90 to 100.

This company gives the increment system. They give the increment or
bonus on the basis of the profit and performance of the employees. The company
gives the bonus on the festivals.

market is Rajkot, Junagadh, Ahmedabad and other city.

Domestic market refers to the market among the state. This company sells

the product in domestic market that is Bombay, West-Bengal, Tamilnadu are


almost 350 dealers.

International market refers to the market among the different countries.

This company sells his product in international market that is Kenya, Sri Lanka

The future plan of the company is diversification of the industry for house
appliances such as mixture, grinder, juicer, water filter, iron toaster and selling
fan chilly cutter and other cuttering items.

And they are going to manufacture a china space model, which will be the
Indias first manufacturing product, which is not firstly prepared by any lady.
They are going to manufacture a new model of stove whose tank will be square

Pvt. Ltd. should advertise their products.
The unit should try to give best service after sales and
improve more and more quality of stove. Also should try
taking minimum price of product to customer. They should try
to appoint more authorized dealer.
The unit should increase the number of their salesmen so
that they can get more customers through advertisement of
salesmen.

The excitement of tacking industry training was a unique experience for


me.

These units made me aware of the working and managing structure


production procedures, marketing structure etc. The H.O. marketing structure of
this firm has guided me through out the training. Every work in this firm very cooperative and helped me a lot in completing this project work.
