Saturday, April 9, called Spring Training 2016 which is now open for registration. This one day event
replaces the day of workshops that took place at the yearly Diocesan Convention and April 9, 2016 is open to
ALL members of the Diocese of Maine. We are grateful to St. Paul's in Brunswick for hosting the day which will
run from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Participants are offered the choice of 20 workshops in areas such as spiritual
growth, formation, music, public policy advocacy, church leadership, conflict mediation and more. You register

Baptism Reception To Be Held Sunday, April 3
A reception will be held Sunday, April 3 after the 10 AM service to help celebrate the baptism of Livezey and
Harper Sheehan. If you care to bring an item to share for the reception table, a sign up is posted downstairs.

After 4 weeks in the hospital and rehab at Seaport Village Healthcare, for knee replacement, two
weeks of meals were arranged for me so I wouldn't have to cook and would have healthy meals.
Rev. Joan Preble, deacon at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, co-ordinated the meals with the
meals that I had at Friends In Action at the Senior Center and Everybody Eats, a community
meal every Monday.
Thanks to everyone who assisted with the meals for me. I appreciate them more than mere words
can say since I greatly underestimated what I'd be able to do for myself when I got home.
I would also like to thank the visitors, known and unknown (I understand I was a very sound
sleeper)at the nursing home. Your kindness is much appreciated.
