WebWay Communicator Mini transmits network monitoring, signals extended format alarms (SIA3) and
remote UDL, management and maintenance of the intruder panel securely over the WebWay network.

Security and minimum interruption is achieved using the latest encryption techniques, coupled with
intelligent fault monitoring.

Information security!
All polls, alarms and remote service sessions are
encrypted using AES128. Keys are changed
automatically every day for every site.

Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is a

progression from DES and Triple DES providing
increased security against todays technological
threats.

Substitution security!
WebWay devices and messages are protected
from substitution and replay

Alarm protocols!
SIA3 or Contact ID alarms are transmitted via the
WebWay Communicator over either IP or mobile
networks. Alarm type, areas, zones and user
codes are all transmitted to the ARC. All event
transmission is included in the ARC service fees.

WebWay Imaging!
The WebWay Communicator transmits JPEG
images based on the status of the panel (Armed/
Disarmed/Always), the alarm type, area and zone.

Network monitoring!
WebWay Communicator can be purchased online
at www.webwayworld.com. Ask your ARC for
reporting time options.
Smart Reporting!
Single path failures are monitored unless
associated with another event (alternative path
fault, Open or time window). This reduces user
interruption out of hours without compromising
security.

Catastrophic failure!
Simultaneous dual path failure (catastrophic
failure) is reported at any time, irrespective of the
system status (Open/Closed).

Panel protocol and communications emulation!

The WebWay Communicator connects to the
intruder alarm panel using either an RS232, RS485
or TTL connection. Only 3 wires are required to be
connected. The field engineer programmes the
panel for Contact ID or SIA3 and UDL etc
capability. For legacy panels WebWay provides a
Modem Capture interface which emulates the
telephone line and exchange for switching legacy
panels and dialler to IP networks.

the ordering, configuration and management of
WebWay devices online. Available on desktop,
tablet and mobile.
Command Centre!
Used by WebWay support and ARCs, Command
Centre is used to manage hundreds of sites in

Remote Manager!
Remote Manager connects your panels UDL
package securely to our network and your remote
systems.

Support!
WebWay provides telephone support services
included within your monitoring contract. Training
can be arranged at your location or ours.
