false .
Indikasi yang benar disebabkan oleh
ketidaksempurnaan
mekanik
pada
material las dan area disekitarnya.
Indikasi yang relevan adalah yang
memiliki dimensi lebih besar dari 1/16 in
(1.5 mm).
Indikasi memanjang adalah yang
memiliki panjang lebih dari 3 (tiga) kali
lebarnya.
Indikasi bundar adalah indikasi bentuk

Demagnetisasi
Jika sisa magnet di benda uji dapat
mengganggu pada proses berikutnya
atau penggunaannya, maka benda uji
harus didemagnetisasi sewaktu waktu
setelah selesai pengujian. Demagnetisasi
bisa menggunakan mesin MT yang bisa
menghasilkan magnetic flux yang cukup
dengan cara menggulung kabel di benda
uji dan secara bertahap amper diturunkan
pada step berikutnya atau benda uji
dipanaskan
dengan
menggunakan
metode yang sesuai.
Demagnetization
When residual magnetism in part could
interfere with subsequent processing or
usage, the part shall be demagnetized
any time after completion of the
examination. The demagnetization may
use the MT machine which produce
sufficient magnetic flux by wrapping the
part with cable and gradually decrease
the amperes at the following step or by
heat treated the part using applicable
method.

Pembersihan Akhir
Pembersihan akhir harus dilaksanakan
jika material test magnetic particle yang
diaplikasikan pada benda uji dapat
mengganggu proses berikutnya dan
dengan menggunakan alat yang cocok.
Post Cleaning
The post cleaning shall be performed
only when magnetic particle test
materials applied on the part could
interfere with subsequent processing
and using the suitable means.
