connected with main tank, inspections covers of the main tank and from OLTC to main
tank top cover- Depute Service Engineer- Arrange for rectification of oil leakageRequested Reg.

It is to inform that, the 19/31.5 MVA 132/33KV T&R make power
transformer S.No: PCO100494 at 132KV Pedavegi SS, which was commissioned on
19.06.2013. Since from Commissioning of the PTR oil was leaking from various points
as follows

1. Seal bolts of PRV connected to main tank,

2. Inspection covers of the main tank
3. OLTC to main tank top cover.
As per references cited above your service Engineers attended the site to arrest
the same, the leaks are still persisted. As per the reference 4th cited above the
following remarks are observed and M/s. TRIL agreed to rectify the remarks.

1) OLTC PRV needs to be replacing with new one due to oil leakages.
2) 2 Nos. 25mm gate valves are to be replace with new one to arrest oil leakages.
3) The shortage 2 Nos. full drums of transformer oil have to be supply by
M/s. TRIL.
After so many reminder letters from TLC/TRE/VIZAG/APTRANSCO wing the first two
remarks were attended by your service engineer but there is no communication from
your side regarding third remark based on the MOM.
Meanwhile we attended several times to arrest the oil leakage but not arrested.
On 15.11.2015 the transformer was tripped on transformer trouble trip followed by low
oil level alarm and bucholtz alarm. On 16.11.2014 the transformer was kept in service
by toping up of two full drums of oil to main conservator tank. Even though the power
transformer is new, many remarks were informed vide references cited above from the
commencement of work to till date.
Hence, it is requested to attend the above pending said remarks of Power
Transformer and arrange to rectify the persisted oil leakages of Power transformer by
deputing your service Engineer as early as possible to avoid unnecessary interruption
to the consumers & to serve the Power Transformer for many years and may please
giving the best services of M/s TRIL.
