1.self-introduction
Good morning,professors. Thank you for giving me the
opportunity to have this interview. My name is Shang jiaqi. I come
from Taiyuan , the capital of Shanxi province. I will graduate from
school of history and culture of Ludong University in this summer. In
the past half a year, i have been preparing for graduate
examination. Honestly,it is really a long and hard time. But
fortunately, all my efforts has paid off because now i get chance to
walk in my favorite college to have an interview. So i just have a
little bit nervous.
When i was a little girl , i read some history stories and got a lot
of fun . And next , I met a good teacher in my high school and
he brought me more interest in history lecture and even kind of
deep understanding in history such as taking history as a mirror. So I
chose history as my major in college. There i got the important view
that we should take the pursuit of historical realism as the essence
of history . I do love history and in fact i know it is difficult for me ,
an ordinary people , to compare with these great historians . But i
still willing to make even a little contributions to history.
In my spare time , i enjoy playing piano as a form of relaxation .
Music makes me feel life is colorful .

that for relax since music makes my life colorful.

history as a mirror, one can know rise and fall. That is to say:
history teaches us to avoid the traps that someone had fell into. It is
our obligation to learn from history so that the tragedy never
happen again. Also, I believe that history is the key to future. So to
look into future depends on the mirror of history (

History is a kind of science as well. And its goal is to find the

truth from historical materials and restore that to public. Indeed,
forgetting the history is equal to betray of past.

My favorite historian is Thucydides and he is(might be
) the most famous ancient Greek historian.
In his History of The Peloponnesian War, he first put forward the
principle of identifying historical materials. He said
that any historical record cant be trusted without identifying. This
idea is(becomes) really() an essential (rule) for historical
workers. Second, his purpose of writing history is rather taking
history as mirror than catering popular tastes.(

When I was a little girl, I read a lot of history

in the past and future of human civilization. So that we are able to
have an objective vision of ourselves and other countries, and thus
we could treat culture communication with a proper attitude. We
should not boast about our culture excessively. At the same time, we
still need to maintain the confidence when facing others'. This is

exactly what we are lacking in the trend of globalization. So I think

the world history is very important.

In history, there are maybe many golden ages. But actually(

But in my view), i think (), the best age is the age we
are. The idea that all man are created equalis just an idealization,
(sometimes it is)a American lie. But I do believe that all should have
an equal opportunity to succeed. That is the most important thing.
We all have own dreams and everyday we fight for the ideal. It
