10th house method.From my own Chart Moon in 10th house. Venus, Saturn, Rahu also posited in 10th house.
Saturn connected to 4th and 12th.10th cusp Connection with the Lagna. Signification to 3 (Ve - Me), 7 (Sa Su) & 11 (Ve - Ra). A combination of Mercury, Sun & Saturn in DBA, gave my entrance into service.
10th cusp also connected to Mars (by Ve) for govt. salary.Ket (Mar, Ra), Sun, Venus in DBA when I left
service.

Dear Punit Pandeyji,
For IAS & IPS, Administration skill is required. In my experience, strong Mars connected to Xth Bhavam,
make one to become a good IAS & IPS Officer. Mars is also significator for army/military nature, coupled
with boldness, disciplined and able administrator.Thus Mars pays important role.

According to me , for any govt job high position , sun should be powerfull in chart,more I can say, for IAS sun,
& for IPS Sun with mars(police, crime) & saturn(impresment,justice, service).For investigation purpose
(CID,CBI)rahu also plays the role.

KPAF, Hyderabad, KP Astrology International Magazine during july.Dec
2008, the file in pdf format uploaded in the files section. Senior KP
Members may go thru the same and offer their comments. Nearly 40
charts were analysed and it was found Rahu and Venus have played a
major role for IAS Profession, relating to IPS it is next to IAS
selection in the examinations.
