Politics: Whats inside of it?

Many of us think that politics is kind of bad, well Ill tell you, you are wrong! To be
honest, politics is actually bad, I mean worst. When politics starts to enter in a discussion, I am
like, oh really? Well, I will just sit somewhere and start to listen on what the hell they are saying,
its very easy for others to describe politics, and do they know what it really is? I bet they dont.
Criticism is inevitable, it is some kind of virus, more like Schizophrenia, having difficulties in
identifying what things are real and are not. We do criticize politics based on what we are seeing,
not only politics but also everything that can be criticized. Thats how judgmental we are.
Jarod kintz has a lot of knowledge about politics. Well, hes not pro with politics, he has
written many books that tackle the wicked side of it. One quotation that he had quoted caught my
ears, literally ears. He said, Love is like 9.75 plus .25. Thats 10, for all of you people trying to
add fractions on your fingers. I can only count using eight, because Im too busy using my
middle fingers to tell the politicians how much I love them. Bad right? But hes actually right. I
used to do that when someone is making full of himself, I call that politics. So for those
braggarts, I call them politicians. Although I am just a mediocre student, I can tell that even
though they have done so many corruptions and other political crimes, I still love them, does it
sound ironic? Well, its not, I mean sort of. I love them like I want to put them on grave, leave
them somewhere that is impossible for them to escape, or keelhaul them. Also, there are pockets
of wealth in this country. Mostly those pockets are in the politicians pants. Again, correct! If we
look on the reality, politicians primary function is to corrupt the people, its their best nature. If
you dont agree, I can say that you dont understand yet what the politics is all about, I am not
saying that I understand it thoroughly and I know everything about politics. But, who can deny
the corruption of politicians? Perhaps, what we can only see is what we believe. But we dont
know yet, everything can be hidden. They may not corrupt millions of public funds, but
everything can be started with just a small thing and eventually, it gets bigger and bigger.
Now, ask yourself. What is politics? And what is inside of it? What and where is the
missing piece that can finally describe the politics?

Who deserves the position?
2016 Philippine election has been active discussion couple of days ago and I can tell that
campaigns here and there are being conducted even though thats not the right date of proper
campaign. Its very natural for a politician running from a certain position to campaign and beg
people to vote him, persuade I mean. But who really deserves the position? Does s/he possess the
traits that your ideal candidate should ever have? Is s/he qualified for you? Does s/he contribute
on our society? And will s/he contribute on our society.
Ask not what he had done, but ask what he will do, a very catchy statement of a political
professor for those candidates who are so eager to campaign to people just to vote them. Its
absolutely correct. For what s/he has done is what s/he has done, confusing right? But it literally
means that its his/her obligation to do such things during his term, but since another term is
coming, ask for your future, ask for what things the s/he will do in order for us to be developed, I
used plural on the word thing because a leader must do not just one but many great things to
establish a better society. Now, what are the factors to consider in determining who deserves
certain position? For instance, a President must be able to read and write, constitution requires
presidential candidates to have at least good comprehension but it doesnt mean that we will base
our decision to that. But every one of us has our own standards when it comes to leaders. In
order for us to determine those traits, we should first look on what the problems of our society
are. By doing that, we will be able to know what things should be changed and those things are
your model in candidates proposals and plans on your society. Will that plan solve this problem?
To make it clear, if the problem of your society is education, then find someone that advocates
the quality education. But dont be fooled by just statement, analyze if he is concerned on that
matter, does he know the feeling of having a poor education? It doesnt matter if he had
experienced it or not, concern can be given with or without experience, just knowledge. And
lastly, fame is important, not literally fame but everyone knows him that hes that kind of person
and willing to serve the society with good governance.
Questions may be left on our mind. Are these effective in choosing the right person? Will
it change the system of the Philippine government? And are we knowledgeable enough to vote
for that position? The result of governments action depends on its citizens, it depends on us.
