HISTORIA

En 1849 se funda la empresa qumica Charles Pfizer and Company por Charles
Pfizery Charles Erhart.

En 1880 comienza la fabricacin del cido ctrico.

A partir del ao 1936 empieza la produccin y comercializacin de vitaminas.

En 1945 la compaa se convierte en el primer productor de penicilina.

Los investigadores de Pfizer descubren en 1949 la terramicina, primer medicamento de


Pfizer en EEUU.

Pfizer Espaa nace en 1952.

En 1982 Feldene se convierte en el medicamento antiinflamatorio de prescripcin ms


vendido en el mundo y diez aos ms tarde se lanzan Besitrn, Norvas yZitromax.

En 1998 se ponen a disposicin de los pacientes Viagra, Cardyl y Zarator.

En el ao 2000 Warner Lambert se incorpora a la compaa, lo que convirti a Pfizer en la


farmacutica mundial con ms valor y de ms rpido crecimiento.

Con Warner Lambert se suman a la cartera de medicamentos de la


compaaCardyl y Zarator y Viracept.

En el 2002, Pharmacia se integra en Pfizer, lo que supuso un impulso en la investigacin y


el desarrollo de nuevos medicamentos en las reas de endocrinologa, oftalmologa y
oncologa.

En 2009 Wyeth se une a Pfizer, aportando una cartera de medicamentos ms diversificada,


con liderazgo en prcticamente todas las reas teraputicas. La compaa ha reforzado sus
posibilidades en biotecnologa, vacunas, productos de consumo, nutricin y salud
animal.

logosThese versions are used for all desktop and on-screen applications.RGB logo
files are provided in JPG and PNG fileformats in 2 sizes. These versions are also
providedas scalable vector artwork (EPS). Additionally, EPS format files may also be

used to create files in any of the other image formats at exactly thesizes required.Use
JPG format logos for PowerPointpresentations,MicrosoftWorddocuments, and
other officeapplications. You may use JPG files for printingon low-resolution printers
such as laser or ink-jetprinters. JPG format logos are never used for high-resolution

Pfizer logo with the amount ofclear space shown to ensure that the logo is
easilyidentifiable as well as visible and legible whereverit appears.Clear space is the
minimum breathing roommaintained around our logo. It also defines theminimum
distance between the logo and the edgeof a printed piece. The clear space around our
logois equal to the height of the Pfizer logo. Do notposition any text, graphic elements,
or other visualmarks inside the recommended clear space.Please note that this
distance may sometimesbe adjusted for select online or exterior signageapplications
