What type of classes do you enjoy taking?

Although I have finished my studies I would like to take classes in foreign

languages, culture and economic. Because my dream is to travel around the
world it will be useful for me to have knowledge about different cultures and
to know different languages. First of all I would like to improve my English
skills and especially my conversation skills and my vocabulary, and after that
I would like to learn Spanish or Japanese. Now I'm studying Dutch and it's
quite interesting.
In addition to language classes I would like to take also economic classes. In
the actual economic context it is good to have some knowledge of economic,
in order to have a better vision about all economical changes in the world.

Speak about a teacher you admire and explain why you admire him/her.
I admire my literature teacher from high school. The reason because I admire
her is her devotement for her classes and the way she succeeded to capture
our attention on literature. When I met her, she was just finishing her
university studies and she was for the first time teaching. But her behavior
was natural and she was never nervous in front of the class. She was
passionate by literature and she succeeded to occur us the same passion.
That's why I admire her, because she succeeded in her purposes and she
tried all the time to encourage us to keep reading and to discover more and
more.

Some students study for classes individually. Others study in groups. Which
do you think is better?
From my point of view I think that both choices are good but that depends
only the topic or the courses that they have to study. A student must always
to study individually for classes, and the best way to succeed is when he/she
is studying every day. The second choice, to study in a group could be helpful
when a student must to learn for a test or exam and she/ he has problems in
understanding some subjects or some topics. Studying in group is helpful
because any member of the group could express his point of view over a
topic, or the best students could propose their help for the others who have
problems.
To conclude I think that each choice is good and that depends only by
students and their method to study.

What (where) is the best place to study?

In my opinion the best place to study is at my desk from my room. The

reason that I prefer this place is because I feel confident in my room, I am use
to this space and most of all I have all the facilities that I need: books,
courses, paper, pencils, a laptop and so on. Before starting studying I'll make
sure that I have all the material for my test or exam, and if not, I firstly go to
the library to search all the books or CD-s that I need. One more advantage
to study in my room is that I have only for me a quiet place, where nobody
disturbs me, and I don't need to worry that the library is closing at 17 o clock
or for other inconvenient.

Where do you prefer to live? On or off campus?

I prefer to live on campus. From my experience is the best choice that a
student could make, living in campus. The reason that I prefer living in
campus is that there you can really feel that you are a student and because
you are always in touch with others students. Living in campus you can bind
friend relationships for all your life, you can have the chance to participate to
all the activities that are organized or you could join different groups of clubs
such as Scout or Young People etc.
The second reason is that living in campus in cheaper that living outside, and
in the same time, almost all the campus are located nearly the universities,
so you are closer to the university and you don't have to pay another
transport to get to your courses.

Some students would prefer to live with roommates; others would prefer to
live alone.
From my point of view is better when you live with roommates because you
can cherish with them the pleasure of being student. First of all I dont like
loneliness, so I would like to have one or two roommates. Second of all, when
you have roommates you can deal with them a part of your duty. Third of all
you can have a person who could help you when you are in need. But the
most important is to have reliable roommates and I think that is also
important if your roommates are your friends.

Choose a place you go to often that is important to you and explain why it is
important.

I like to go often to the church, although lately I'm not going so often. But
when I have the opportunity I like to go to the Orthodox Church because
there I'm feeling safe, quite and there I'm connected with God. I can pray in
quite form me, my family and my friends. There I can ask God to help me
with my problems or to give me the wisdom to see a better way to resolve
my problems, or I can thank Him for all the help He gives me. I can see other
people that are coming there that they are peaceful too. Every time when I go
to church I'm feeling optimistic and prepare to challenge the life difficulties.

Some college students choose to take courses in a variety of subject areas in

order to get a broad education. Other chooses to focus on a single subject
area in order to have a deeper understanding of the area.
In my opinion students should choose to take courses in a single subject
because a few reasons. First of all at university students should already be
prepared for getting a specialization a certain area, so that they should be
prepared to get a deeper understanding of the area ( medicine for example).
The second reason is that ,if a student has a deeper understanding he/she
could find a better job, because of his/her knowledge. In addition to that, I
think that it is better to focus on a single area and to become the best in that
field, than have a wider education and no specialty.
In our life it is also important to have knowledge in different areas, but that
you could get after your university specialization.

Speak about a person that you admire and explain why.

I admire my mother. There are some reasons to support my answer. First of
all she didn't have an easy childhood and because her parents weren't rich
she had to care for her four brothers. Nevertheless she got to school and she
has obtained a diploma, so that now she is a teacher. Her life wasn't easily
neither after she got married but she was always a fighter and confident that
all thinks will be better. Second of all she had health problems when my
older brother was borne and even she stayed one month in hospital with him
she didn't give up. In addition to that, three years later she had the courage
to have another baby, and so I was borne. Because she is a fighter and
because she takes care every day for us I admire her very much.

Speak about a place you enjoy visiting.

Generally I enjoy traveling and visiting different countries. Every time when I
have the occasion I enjoy visiting Antwerp. The mainly reason that I prefer Antwerp
is because is a cosmopolite city, you have a variety of places to see and because
the people are friendly. I love Antwerp for his Diamond Museum and his Diamonds

Shops. Even if I can afford to buy me such a jewel I like to admire them in the shop
windows. Secondly I am a big admirer of medieval architecture and in Antwerp you
can see a lot of buildings which dates since medieval period. But most of all I like
the mixture between old times' building and nowadays buildings. In my opinion the
Central Station from Antwerp is the best example. For all of these and not only, I
enjoy every time visiting Antwerp.

Speak about a person who influenced you

It is difficult to choose just one person because there are many persons who
have influenced my life till now. But if I have to choose one I would choose my
cousin Carmen, first of all because she is like a sister to me ( and I have only
a brother) and we are best friend. She is two years older than me but we
have grown up together in the same village and we have got to school
together. She encouraged me all the time to do things better and to have a
positive vision in life. She trusts me and she encouraged me to keep going
with my studies and with my career. Finally I would like to say that I believe
that she is a good example not only for me but also for other people.

Speak about your hobbies.
One of the things that I enjoy doing is cooking. Since I was young I stood
next my mother in the kitchen and I was all the time curious about the
manner she was cooking. She let me to help her and she learnt me how to
cook. Cooking is important to me because it is one of the activities which
relax me and most of all I enjoy cooking for the others ( family or friends). I
like to try new recipes just for pleasure of cooking. I also like to look at
cooking shows on TV, especially the Jamie Oliver program and after that I try
to put into practice his advices or his recipes. Cooking for the others is one of
the most enjoyable activities that I do.

Speak about an important event in your life.

One of the most important events of my life was the moment when I have
graduated high school. It was the first important exam of my life, the
maturity exam and I had the feeling that I am fulfilled. During the exam I
have also celebrated my eighteen anniversary and all the family was there
for me. I remember that I have received a bouquet of eighteen flowers and a
lot of love from all my friends and family. It was also the moment when I was
for the first time falling in love and I remember that firstly was a little bit
strange but finally it was one of the most happier moments of my life. For all

the reasons that I have mentioned above I have chosen that moment that
being one of the most important till now.

What kind of reading material, such as novels, magazines or poetry do you

most like to read in your free time?
In my free time I like to read novels and I was used to read since I was a child.
This passion for reading has developed in during my studies. I prefer novels
for many reasons. One of these is that I'm transposing in the characters life
and I live in the novel action. Secondly I have always something new to learn
from each novel.
Generally I am reading for anything more than pleasure and if I am starting
to read an author I keep going to read all his books.
Where do most like to go to eat out? Describe this place and say why you like
it most.
Generally ( usually) I dont go to eat out, because I like to cook myself. But
when I want to go out I choose a little restaurant in my neighborhood. One of
the reason that I prefer this place is because its cozy ambiance. Although it
was build recently inside you can find traditional decoration and I am feeling
like home. The second reason is the service- the personal service is flawless/
impeccable and the waiters are always nice with clients. Third of all I like the
food they serve especially pizza house and a special king of soup. In
addition, the prices are quite reasonable for my budget.

What is your happiest childhood memory? Describe it and give reasons to

explain why it is your happiest memory.
One of the happiest periods of my childhood is dating from a summer
vacation since I was nine-ten years old. I remember that during that summer
one of my cousins was come for spending his vacation to me and because my
mother is his godmother we have try all my family to create a good ambiance
for him. Every day we had another activity, we played all the time with my
childhood friends, we were sometimes fishing with my father to a lake placed
nearly my village, we went to the forest to collect mushrooms or fruits, we
wandered to hills to pick flowers etc. At that time we didn't have so many
toys, nevertheless we tried to play as much time as possible outdoor, so in
the evening we were so tired that we fallen in sleep immediately. In short, for
all these reasons I remember that period that being the happiest of my life.

What is your favorite place to visit on weekends? Describe it and explain why
it is your favorite place to go.

My favorite places to go on weekends are the Botanical Garden and Copou

Parc. The two places are closely situated, so that sometimes if I have enough
time I go visiting the both. I enjoy going there because it relax me to walk on
the alley, to admire and sent the smell of the nature and the trees or to
admire the flowers exhibition that are organized there. Furthermore in the
Copou Parc my friends who have children can come too because there are
facilities and some playgrounds. Sometimes there are different activities
organized there so we can enjoy a little show for children or an exhibition or a
life concert or a street painting contest and so on.
