How to install
Step 1:
Step 1:
Connect both ends of the chain with the Bullet Type
connecting pin.(Fig.l)
Connect the ends together.
Step 2:
Put the chain on the Chain tool and tighten the
adjustment nut.(Fig.2)
Step 3:
Use a Chain tool and turn the rotating bar to advance

the Bullet Type connecting pin into the chain. Next,
loosen the adjustment nut and remove the chain.
(Fig-3)
Close chain on the front side by attaching the outer plate (Fig.1-B) and
securing with spring clip (Fig.1-C) (Fig.2)

Chain. Failure to shorten the chain properly or to lock
it exactly into place may cause damage to the chain
and eventually total chain failure, material damage or
the rider to fall off his bicycle resulting in injury.

chain has lost its smoothness and agile shifting function.

2. A Rough Way of Checking :

Put the chain on the outer chain ring, and lift up the chain from the middle of the
ring; If you can lift it more than half a link, the chain or chain ring is probably
worn.*lf this is the case, chain rings and cassette sprockets may also be
affected! In general KMC recommends to check at the following intervals:
Road use and riding in dry conditions: every 500 kilometers (300 miles).
Off road use or more demanding environments: every 150 kilometers (100 miles).
Note: The chain life varies; it depends on the product you use, the circum
stances you ride under and the maintenance you adopt.

oil with excellent lubricating and
anti-corrosion capabilities. KMC Chain
Lube will extend chain life while reducing
drivetrain noise.
3. Shake lubricant bottle before use. Lubricate inside of chain.

Carefully apply lube on each roller.
4. Use soft side (white) of brush to evenly lubricate the chain's
bearings. Rotate chain backward / forward in order to fully
lubricate all rollers. Then, wipe off excess oil with cloth.
