Note
MP 277 devices in integrated projects
To be able to use a V2 device in an integrated project, you first need to execute the command
"Options > Update Catalog" in the hardware configuration of STEP 7.

This update rectifies the following problems in the Engineering System and optimizes configuration
scenarios:
ProAgent screen object "Detail view"
Using multiple instances of the ProAgent screen object "Detail view" with different display types
(STL, LAD, symbol) can cause WinCC flexible to crash and can result in undefined behavior
in Runtime.
Text lists
After copying a text list entry with copy and paste or drag-and-drop, the text entry of the
source turns orange.
After copying a text list with copy and paste or drag-and-drop, all text entries of the source
turn orange.
The option button for selecting the "default" value can no longer be switched directly to
another text list entry. The selected value must first be deselected.
Change log
When the change log is active, error messages are output in the output window when screen
objects that contain a formatted text, such as text fields, are edited.
Screen navigation
1. When screens are added in the "Screen navigation" editor using drag-and-drop, the screen
is only removed after a mouse click in the editor on the "Unused screens" drop-down list.
2. When the "Add to screen navigation" button is clicked, a screen is inserted in the screen
navigation but only activated after a mouse click in the editor.
Exporting texts from faceplates
After the export has been executed, no files will be created with the exported texts.

This update corrects the following problems in Runtime:

Error after transfer with enabled Simatic Logon option
When Simatic Logon is enabled in the project and a transfer to the HMI device then takes
place, Runtime does not start and transfer mode becomes active again on the HMI device.

this change is not included in compiling.
Error while printing the project documentation
The "Lower limit" property of structure elements is not printed when the project documentation
is generated.
Increase in project file size during generation
If a project contains STEP 7 enumerations, the HMI file size increases every time it is compiled.
Connections to SINAMICS S120 not possible
Since Update 3 a direct connection between HMI devices and SINAMICS 120 control systems
is no longer possible.
Increase in the size of temporary files during conversion

If you select a navigation bar, the properties are not displayed in the Properties window.
Editing text lists is slow
The selection of a text entry list can take several seconds for large text lists.
Temporary folder is not deleted

WinCC flexible projects integrated in SIMOTION SCOUT: Drag-and-Drop with multiple
selection in the symbol table
Select multiple tags in the symbol table and drag the tags to a screen using drag-and-drop.
Multiple selection does not work reliably. Sometimes objects from an earlier multiple selection
are inserted in the screen.
WinCC flexible projects integrated in SIMOTION SCOUT: Projects with write protection can
be edited
You convert a project created with an earlier version of SIMOTION SCOUT to the current
version. When you open it, you specify whether the converted project should be opened with
or without write protection. The fix prevents the WinCC flexible components against editing
when the read-only project is opened.
WinCC flexible projects integrated in SIMOTION SCOUT: Missing HMI nodes
Projects created with an earlier version of SIMOTION SCOUT are converted to the latest
version of SIMOTION SCOUT. If you convert the project directly after installing WinCC flexible
and open it as read-only, sometimes no HMI nodes are displayed in the project tree.
WinCC flexible projects integrated in SIMOTION SCOUT: Search function with "Any HMI
object" filter
If WinCC flexible integration is enabled in SIMOTION SCOUT, you can activate the "Any HMI
object" filter for the search. The filter was also offered when the WinCC flexible integration had
been disabled in SIMOTION SCOUT. Searching with this filter makes SIMOTION SCOUT no
longer operable.
WinCC flexible projects integrated in SIMOTION SCOUT: Opening read-only projects
Opening converted projects with write protection and non-converted projects results in the
following behavior: You can also insert read-only HMI projects in the project tree.
Missing message for undefined date values in the alarm view
If there is an attempt to write an invalid date to the controller, sometimes no error message is
displayed.
Indirect addressing of tags
Tags that use address or DB multiplexing, show no values on the HMI device.
