1. What is your favourite type of food? Why?
My favorite food in the world is pizza. I, literally, could eat pizza everyday. I love the idea of
one food composed of all of the food groups. Besides that you can put almost anything on
pizza.
2. Describe someone you met at a party.
Last year, at one of my friends party, I met a girl, who is now one of my best friends. I wanted
to get acquainted with everyone, so I started to introduce myself and look for people that I
could socialize with. I met a girl, named Alexandra who was a little shy and who had the
same passions as me.She was standing in a corner, a little hidden, and was watchnig all the
people at the party. I went to her and asked her if she wanted to have fun and I took her to the
dance floor before she could answer my question.I talked to her all night about the things we
had in common and we had fun.We danced, we sang and we played different games with
others and also we had a cake-battle. Also, she was a very funny person,so I really liked to
talk to her and we kept in touch, talking every day and helping each other everytime when one
of us had problems.
3. A book is like a garden carried in the pocket.
I agree with this statement because it explains the usefulness of a book. The book is compared
to a garden in a pocket and the garden mentioned in this nature.
There are two important teachers in this world. One is nature and the other is represented by
books. Nature teaches us through experience and is considered to be the best teacher in the
older days. This is because man learnt a lot of things from nature like lighting a fire, the wheel
and many more things. It also provided him with all the necessities for life.
When the times changed, these experiences were written down in the form of a book. This
was a step forward because man could record his thoughts and pass his observations from one
generation to another. The printing press was invented by Gutenberg in 1500 A.D. and it
helped in quick and cost effective printing of books on a large scale. So, a lot of people who
could not buy the book either because they were costly or they were rare started buying them.
This free availability of books changed society and was instrumental in spreading knowledge.
So, the book helped man in a very significant way and since it had the ideas of nature
contained in it, it has been compared with a garden.

1. What is your favourite school subject? Why?
My favourite school subject is definitely history! I've loved it ever since I was a child. I enjoy
learning about the past of the world, whether it's about my town, state, country, or anywhere
else in the world! I just find it really fascinating to find out about major events and the roots
of how we came to be as a civilization.
2. Describe a special day in your life.

There are many events and occasions in my life which I treat as important events and among
them my entrance to high school. It was a very special occasion for me. I passed the entrance
examination in 2011 and I had to compete with several other students to be accepted. It is one
of the most famous and a good high school .
My future career, what I will do, where I will be and what I will become would be shaped by
this event. If I had been enrolled in a different high school, things in my life would have been
different. That's why I consider this event as a very significant event in my life.
As I have already said this was a very important experience in my life as it would shape my
future and my career. I felt very overwhelmed when I enrolled to this college. I felt proud to
be allowed to study there, and my parents were very proud as well.
3. Home is where the heart is.
Home is where I was raised, where I played, laughed, cried, and learned. It is where I grew
up. Where I became what I am now a strong, intelligent womanconfident in myself, in
my future and in my past. I believe that a home is more than four walls and a roof over the
head. Home is an environment. It is the feeling that greets me when I walk through the door. It
is the people who wait for me to get home. It is my dog whose hind end shakes back and forth
when she gets excited because she has practically no tail. My home extends out of the walls
and windows of my actual house. It goes down the cracked pavement to my grandparents
house. It twists and turns with the broken roads of my town. My home is my rock solid
foundation, and I will take it with me when I leave.
I believe that home is where individuals become themselves, not primarily physically but
mentally. It becomes a mold that forms who they are. Behind the pizza place where I work,
theres a stream that runs into the river my town is built around. When it is a really busy night,
I sneak down to the river for my precious 20-minute break, stepping carefully along the rocks
to the edge of the river. There are cars and people on both sides of the stream, but the stream
and I are invisible. Too busy to slow down, they pass me by and I am perfectly content in that
moment. I feel at home.
Home for me is made of experiencesmoments of my life that helped to change me and to
teach me. For that reason, my home is also people and when home takes on a human form, it
is called family. I believe that family is a relative termnothing to do with blood, defined by
relationships. When my grandmother died, her best friend, Nancy, became a family friend.
She helped us get through the tough time and has become almost an adopted grandmother to
my sister and me. I was three when she came into my life and now I would never think of
saying that she is a family friend. She is family.
No matter where I go in the future, my foundation will always sit firmly in Maine, in this
environment and with these people who have formed me as a person and taught me how to
live. I know that I can always come home. After all, home is where the heart is.

1) What is your favourite literary character? Why?
My favourite literary character is Sherlock Holmes. I like him because he is a deductive
genius, using his analytic mind for the good. His druggie life is both gloriously detached and
also more deeply engaged with the crime-ridden, class-divided, evil world of late-Victorian
London.

2) Describe a situation in which someone helped you.

Three years ago, I stayed in the library till late night to prepare for final exam. While I was
studying,I heard heavy rain sound. The rain seemed to be stronger, so I packed my things up
to back home. Before I left the library,I spotted a blind standing in front of library entrance. I
found out that she didn't have an umbrella. I asked her why are you standing here, and she
said she is waiting till the rain is stopped. It was already late night so there was no one who
could give her a helping hand beside me. Thus, I asked her address on the purpose of seeing
her home. I shared my umbrella with her by her destination. Although It was about half an
hour far from the library by walking and my all clothes and shoes got wet through, I felt good
when she said " thanks" with her beautiful smile. Meanwhile, however, I feel a bit
uncomfortable about it as she might not be happy with my kind if she thought that i pity on
her. At the time I helped her, I should have considered and been careful about her feeling
more. I thought give a hand to others is not that easy on the way home.
3) Shopping is a therapy.
I do not agree with this statement because shopping is an unavoidable worrying necessity for
many people which may results in drastic problems in the personal and social lives.
Nowadays many people go shopping in their free time. Shopping has replaced many other
activities that people choose as their hobby. What are the reasons for this? Is this is a positive
or negative development?
Shopping is an unavoidable worrying necessity for many people, whilst for some others it is
an opportunity to show their effluence. So many people even consider shopping as an activity
to pass time. Though there are various reasons for this attitude, I strongly believe that, this is a
negative trend and it will pave way to insurmountable issues.
Presently, shopping became a leisure time activity for many people especially young. They
usually go for shopping when they feel boring or free, which they can use wisely for different
activities like participating in sports and games. These people often do window shopping
which may leads to unnecessary rush in the shops and employees of the shops also are also
supposed to spent their time and energy for them. Thus, they are not only wasting the time
and energy of themselves, but also others. Dangerously, the interests in outdoor games trim
down.
Apparently, todays younger generation are getting more pocket money so that they can afford
costly items. Those things, which are optional before became a necessity now. For instance,
mobile phones for young children gaining ground presently. Besides, people are interested to
follow the latest fashion trends. The luxuries life style of youngsters may lead to undesirable
social impacts. To meet money for a costive item, they may indulge in anti social activities
such as drug transactions, black marketing and so on. This produces a number of criminals in
the society, which may become fetal to the peace and prosperity of the society.
Furthermore, the latest fashion of clothes and accessories, and its display in the shops itself is
a fest to eyes sometimes. This attracts people to spend their time in the supermarkets instead
of watching boring programs in the T.V or continuing a monotonous work. The easy system
of availability of loans and credit cards shoot up the rate of spending money in shopping
especially for unnecessary things. The difficulty of pay back with interest to the bank creates
insurmountable issues in their personal, family and social lives.

To conclude, turning shopping as a leisure activity may results in drastic problems in the
personal and social lives and valuable habits like sports may vanish. Therefore, I consider it as
a negative trend.

1) What is your favourite place in your region? Why?
My favourite place in my region is the village where my grandparents live. I like this village
because I lived I with my grandparents here in childhood and I have many precious
memories. Also,I like the village because it is a small one and people from here are very
friendly and the atmosphere is also a friendly one.
2) Describe a memorable day you spent with your parents.
I went through my childhood with more sad memories than happy ones. I sometime wish that
I could feel the other way around. Unfortunately, the dramatic and sad experiences stand out
more in my memory bank. Among my childhood , I remember the experience of my father
helping me on my math problem when I was nine years old the most. That experience has
affected my relationship with my parents negatively and teaches me to be a better parent.
When I was nine years old, I had trouble in math. I could not do multi-digit division; thus, my
math performance in school suffered. My mother made me kneel for about fifteen minutes
then spanked me afterward if I got an average grade or below in school. She could not help
me because she had no education. To overcome the math problem, I asked my father for help
one night. The experience that I went through while getting help from him was the worse one
in my childhood.
My father and I spent next three hours together that night, and that was the longest three hours
I had ever experience in life. He helped me by having me doing many multi-digit division
problems and if I made any mistake he would whip the back of my hands with a wooden ruler.
I of course got countless number of whips especially at the beginning because I didn't know
how to solve them. I can still recall his out control temperament. He yelled at me and told me
how stupid I was continuously. I remember crying nonstop and begging him to stop hitting
me. At the end of that three hours I was no longer having any more math problem or any other
problems.
After that night, I always made sure that my parents would never know any of my problems. I
stopped asking my parents for help. That experience has affected the way I feel about my
parents. I was not closed to my parents before, and that experience deteriorated our
relationship further. That experience also affects the way I raise my children today. I learn to
be more tolerable and helpful to children, and not to repeat the same nightmare that I went
through with my father.
In summary, the three hours that I spent with my father while he was helping me with my
math problems is my most memorable childhood experience. It has a negative effect on my
relationship with my parents, yet it has a positive effect on the way I raise my family today; I
learn to be a better parent out of that experience.

3) If you dont like something, change it.If you cant change it,it change your
attitude.
It is pointless to complain because it does not actually solve or change anything. Action, not
passive complaints, is what causes change and solves problems. The American Revolution
and the Black Civil rights movement are proof that complaint is pointless without action.
In the 1700s when the American colonies were still under british rule, Britain mistreated the
colonists. Britain violated many basic rights of the colonists such as taxation without
representation and took advantage of them like in the Quartering Act which forced colonists
to house and feed unwanted British soldiers. Eventhough the colonists voiced their plethora of
complaints, the British Empire unfairly disregarded their tribulations. Complaints alone were
not enough to solve their political problems, so colonial leaders including Thomas Jefferson
and James Madison coalesced into one group to act against the British Empire with the
Declaration of Independence in 1976 which enumerated their grievances and formally stated
succession from Britain. Eventually the colonists won their independence through the brutal
Revolutionary War. It is evident in the struggle of the colonists, that complaints alone did
nothing to relieve them of oppression and that action in the form of war and politics were
what solved their problems.
Just as the American colonists complaints were useless without action, so too were the
complaints of black citizens in the U.S. in the 1900s. Since the beginning of U.S. history,
blacks have been oppressed by the U.S. and their complaints and grievances were pointless
because the white-dominated government ignored them. It was not until Martin Luther King
Jr. came along to rally the black people of U.S. and take peaceful action to gain their natural
born civil rights. Martin Luther King Jr. led the March on Washington in 1963 as a peaceful
protest against unfair government policies and eventually was successful when Congress
finally enacted the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which gave equal protection of civil rights to
blacks. It is evident in the Blacks civil rights struggle, that complaints again were pointless
until action was taken to solve their problems.
In conclusion, it has been proven that complaints are pointless without action. As evident in
the American Revolution and Blacks civil rights movement, complaints were pointless and
not until action was taken did the colonists and blacks attain their goals. If one wants to
change something, one must act, not just wastefully complain.

1. What is your favourite TV channel? Why?
I do not watch TV that much but it is a great electronic media for education and
entertainment. Sometimes I watch TV, mostly in my free time and among the channels I
watch, 'Discovery Channel' is my most favorite. Whenever I held the TV remote control in my
hand, I look for either a news channel or Discovery channel. This is the channel I watch more
often than any other channels. I watch it for 4-8 hours per week. On my day off, if I am in
front of TV, I watch the great educational and recreational programs that this channel
broadcasts.
2. Describe a memorable day you spent with your friends.

A t-shirt sits in my closet that brings back a certain for me. Its a gray Nike shirt with a
faded pink stain in the center of the chest. I always wear this same shirt every time I play
paintball even though its too small. Its my good luck shirt. I can remember when this same
old shirt was relatively new..
It was a hot humid morning when a few friends and myself drove into the parking lot of
my favorite paintball field. We unpacked the car and found an unoccupied picnic table under
the pavilion. We registered ourselves and suited up. I put on my camouflaged jumpsuit over
my shorts and unstained gray t-shirt. The referees rounded all the players up and put us on
teams, all of us were blue.
The first game was in a field the shape of a banana with a dogleg on one side and a dry creek
bed as deep enough to provide good cover. I grouped up with two of my friends at our teams
flag station and waited for the refs whistle. We waited for a minute in anxious silence, then
the whistle blew we sprinted to the creek bed. The creek bed is about halfway across the field
so we werent sure if the other team would get there first so we were all wary. Then we saw
the creek bed. It was empty, for now. Five reds were almost as close to the bed as we were.
They saw us and ducked for cover, we slid into the creek bed. I popped my safety in to the fire
position and popped off about 20shots into the group of reds, my teammates did the same.
Four of the reds shouted, HIT!!! and walked off the field. One of my friends was hit in the
clash and walked off the field. That left just two of us in the creek bed. We decided that we
should go over the top and make a charge on the last red in front of us, we did and my friend
got him. We charged down the sideline to get to the other teams flag. We made it about 50
yards before we saw anyone else, when we did it was all newbees and little kids (a newbee is
a person who is still new to paintball, you can tell them apart by their rental equipment and
lack of skill). We snuck behind the group and started giving them splotches, but then one of
them had an automatic!! My friend got hit as I dove behind a barrel. As I lay behind the barrel
I kept hearing the Pling! Pling! of paintballs hitting my cover. When I heard the reds calm
down a little I decided that I was hopelessly outnumbered and had no chance. After taking this
in to account I decided that I should make a charge at them. First I looked up and saw that
they were mostly paying attention to the other side of the field. Then I jumped up and shot at
them as fast as I could, I think I hit a few of them but that was the least of my concerns. About
five of them turned and shot at me, including the one with the automatic. I was hit about 7
times all over my body; one paintball hit me in the zipper where it was slightly open and got
all over my gray t-shirt staining it to this day.
Whenever I see the stain on my paintball t-shirt it makes me think of that game and that great
charge!!

1. Do you enjoy taking photographs? Why?
Yes,I love it. I enjoy photography because it has given me the opportunity to share in peoples
most special moments on a regular basis and also it has introduced me to many people who I
now call friends. I enjoy photography because it is something that I can do any time, any
place and all I need is my phone and it has allowed me to capture moments in my own life

that I dont want to forget. I enjoy photography because it has caused me to fall in love with
light and see the world around me with fresh eyes every single day. And sometimes, when the
mood is right, I just sit back and enjoy the moment without taking a photo.
2. Describe your ideal place for holiday.
Last year, my family and I spent one whole week in Sri Lanka which was once known as
The Paradise of the East. It turned out to be the best holiday we had ever had.
Our flight on Singapore Airlines was uneventful. The stewardess managed to distract us with
food, duty-free goods and their pretty smiles. As we approached Sri Lanka, I was enchanted
by what I saw of the awesome mountains and thousands of coconut trees.
The journey to the hotel in Colombo was interesting though humpy. The driver had to contend
not only with the other vehicles but also with the unpredictable dogs, cats, cows and
pedestrians. We toured various places of historical and cultural interest. The Sigiriya Rock,
the home of an ancient king, fascinated me the most. The king had defended his realm from
the Rock which was in the shape of a lion. The shaky stairs leading to the castle ruins on top
of the rock were not easy to climb. However, the preserved frescoes of beautiful maidens
made the climb worthwhile.
The south-western coast of the island is lined with beautiful, white, sun-soaked beaches. The
sea was a deep sapphire color, sparkling under the sun on the day of our visit. There were few
tourists around and so the beaches were practically deserted.
Most people on the island speak English well. From them, we had an insight of the lives of
the local people. I made friends with a teenaged boy called Siri who took me to his village.
There, he introduced me to his large family and we played their local games. Form dinner, I
was served rice and vegetables grown on their own plot of land. It was much more delicious
than the hotel food we had been served. The week passed b too quickly. I was sorry to leave
the island which had lived up to its name: The Paradise of the East.
3. Job satisfaction is more important than financial reward
It is true that job satisfaction has become a key factor when evaluating a worker's occupation
in today's modern societies, which is the result of combination of several factors. However, to
fulfill the expectations of every staff member of a company is such an impractical task.
First and foremost, recognition for an employee's efforts put into work is notably the top
element of satisfaction level. In fact, he will be more contended and motivated if he perceives
that his work are highly appreciated by supervisors and colleagues and as such, he will
definitely continue to contribute his value to his organisation. In addition, the potential
benefits deriving from the profession, namely income and promotion, are equally important.
That is, compensation is a rewarding means of reflecting one's talents and achievements
overall. Moreover, by aiming to move up the ranks will workers be encouraged to strive as
hard as possible.
Nevertheless, job satisfaction should solely be analysed from individual perspective instead of
communal one. To be more specific, it should be noted that some workers are working under
such an uncomfortable environment that totally does not come up to their expectations. For

instance, they have to put up with unapproachable bosses and unfriendly co-workers and keep
performing their duties only with a view to making ends meet and paying for their daily living
costs. Furthermore, in terms of the financial reward for the staff, if a manager simply offers a
bonus to all subordinates, he will fail to focus on individuals who work much harder than
others.
To sum up, employees' contentment generally comprises appreciation for their feats and
rewards that they deserve to receive. Even so, satisfying all of them would undoubtedly be not
effortless anyway.

1) Do you want to be a self-employed or work as an employee? Why?
I think that I would like to be a self-employed because I am the kind of person who want more
control over your ideas, your projects and the work that I do. I cant imagine having to run
things past a co-worker or a boss now. M work and my ideas are mine alone and the only
criticism I get is from my clients (positive or negative). People generally consider me to be
friendly, gregarious and outgoing (and humble). However, in a work setting involving a team
project, I turn bossy and controlling. Being self-employed, I have made a conscious decision
not to grow my business to more than one full-time employee.
2) Imagine you are a famous person.Describe a typical day in your life.
My name is Shannon and I am a singer, but also I am a student. As I am still a student, I have a
daily routine that mostly focuses on my classes and study. After classes I go in tha practice
room from my agency and I work on the album, recording songs and also rehearsing
choreographies.Usually,I get up early in the morning mostly at 6:30 am and take a shower. I
eat my breakfast then and revise the study for that day. I reach my university at around 8:30
am and attend the classes till 3:00 pm. I eat my lunch at around 1:00 pm from the university
cafeteria. I spend some time with my classmates after the class and return home at around
4:30 pm when I have free time.I take some rest and go to nearby fields in the evening. I walk
for 1 hour ad return home at 6:30 pm.
I usually practice in tha practice room till 9:00 pm. After this,I go home,I take a shower and I
browse net and maintain my social networking for about 30 minutes, posting and informing
my fans that I am fine and that I love them. Before I go to the bed I brush my teeth and read
some lessons for the next day.
I have been following this routine for the last 3 years. If I do not have classes or if I have
holidays and I take break from practicing,I go through a different routine which includes
watching movies, playing computer games, hanging out with friends.
3) The generation gap is one which cannot be bridged.
There are always had been many talks about how the younger generations are worse than the
previous ones. Is that an actually truthful statement and whose fault is that? Is the matter in
the changing surroundings or it is all about not careful parental supervision? These questions
are eternal and there will not be one correct answer for everybody. In my opinion, the
formation of a personality of a child depends on both, surroundings and parental supervision.
As the result, innovations in our everyday life and the parental support make us who we are.
On the talk shows and in the newspapers there are many themes about the degradation of the

youth.George Orwell said: Each generation imagines itself to be more intelligent than the
one that went before it, and wiser than the one that comes after it. The qoute proves that it
seems the younger population of the world shows the worst of what the older people could
have been in their times, that the young people are lazy and don`t even know what the life is.
But the matter is actually about the evolution, not degradation. The technologies are in their
full growth, economy is not at the worst level and political situation is quite stable. All of that
gives us an ability to work less, study easier and earn more. Apparently we do not know how
our parents or grandparents lived. And we do not need to know how they lived to set up our
own lives by their examples. We just can respect them for how they did everything on the best
level for us without the same conditions that we have right now.
As it was mentioned earlier, we do not need to live our lives as they did but we have to carry
up traditions and give it to our own children so they could pass it along to our grandchildren
and so on. It is how the culture is being maintained over the years. The quote by George
Orwell says that parents often talk about the younger generation as if they didn`t have
anything to do with it. I agree that it looks like that when we hear such comments about the
youth. But it shouldn`t be like that at all. Young people still need their parents` guidance and
support. Or else it could become even tragic. There are many children who are abandoned by
their parents and their faith is too far from perfect.
Even though there are many misunderstandings between parents and children some means
should be taken to consideration to become closer to each other. Parents should listen and
educate. It takes time for both sides to understand each other so the process of acknowledging
should not be rushed. There are no actual rules to be a good parent or a good child. You
should always listen to your head and your heart. Otherwise the problems that you face would
be hard to deal with. And both children and parents should not just listen but hear each other.
Hear what is hidden behind the words. That is the way for everybody to get along with the
loved ones.
To conclude, the generation gap cannot be bridged but it can become narrower by
understanding, talking and feeling what the other person wants to convey to you. Even if he or
she much younger and has less experience in life. We all human after all and even though the
life changes our main qualities and needs stay the same.

1) How you ever considered working abroad? Why(not)?
Sometimes I think at working abroad because there are some opportunities like helping you
develop skills and give you experiences, learning a language, traveling and also working
abroad affords you the opportunity to make friends around the world.
2) Describe a museum you visited.
I have visited 5-6 museums in total in different countries and enjoyed visiting the History
Museum in Bucharest. I went to the museum 2 years back while visiting the city. Visiting the
museum was not in our tour plan and yet we went there as it was prominently expressing its
present in front of us. I went there with my 2 friends and one cousin who were my tour
partners. My cousin and one of my friends were not at all interested to roam inside the
museum as they had other plans. I insisted them to go there and convinced them by saying
that if you do not enjoy it; I would pay for the dinner!
After we bought our tickets, we entered in to the museum and the colossal front side of the

museum building and the large open garden in front of it mesmerized us. At that time I had a
feeling that our time would worth the visit.
After we entered inside the museum, we found that the place is even larger than we initially
thought it would be. There were 5 floors in the museum and the inside architecture reminded
us the imperial age. We could see the top of the building from the ground flood. People from
different age groups and countries were closely observing the museum. Taking photo was
prohibited and yet I was sometimes allured to take some hidden snaps especially when I saw
the colossal dinosaur fossil and alien ship!
The first floor of the museum had some art from famous artist of the world and sculptures
from different era. The first floor gave us the impression of visiting a theatre or art gallery
rather than museum. We came to know that some of the arts were so expensive that one can
buy an island by selling it! Then we moved to the second floor which was full of Second
World War memories. Guns, tanks and other war materials from 1945 WW II had been
arranged there. A video was showing some of the fighting scenes of WW II.
When we reached third floor, its been already 2.5 hours. We found all the costumes and
traditional things from different parts of the world have been placed here. One can easily learn
about the customs of different ages and countries just by visiting this floor.
The next floor had more adventure and surprises for us. It has placed all the major inventions
of different ages and they were historically famous. I felt overwhelmed seeing the First
computer, Speed boat, Wheel, Motor Engine and many more famous invention of history at
this floor. I was so much dying to touch the first 4 wheeler that had been placed there.
We had visited the whole museum as much as possible and spent almost the whole day. We
were so enthralled to visit the place that we literally forgot to have our lunch. The overall
experience was fantastic and I learned so many things in few hours. As soon as I left the
place, I planned to revisit it someday.
3) Whatever your age.life in the country is always better than life in the city.
If you have two choices: living in city or in country , which one will you choose? .Some
people think that city living has more benefits than country's. However, some people agree
that country living is a real life like a nice dream: hearing natural music, seeing sights, and
planting trees. This essay will tell you what similarities and differences between city and
country living , so we can get more widen views.
First similarity is convince. What is convince to you ? some ones say immediately this is only
in city living.Nonetheless,it is not always true. Convince between city life and country life are
showed very different. For example, in city, most all people like to buy serviced food and it is
easy to have a meal in few minutes, but they rarely can cook them well. Whereas, in country,
people gradually cook many kinds of food at home , so they can cook better than city people,
save a lot of money and enjoy their own meals. Getting cooking experiences and improving
cooking are able to do in country living. Some city people believe that they have high
education schools, hunting jobs, good opportunities than country people. These are not
wrong . In contrast, how can they have good services? almost all these are not free, they need
paying many bills. That is why they have to have not only one job but also more two ones.
They work hard and it is often more pressure than country people although they can have
more advantages. Money not only brings people in city many convince but only takes away

time and physical labor. Country living is cheaper than city life, however, services are not
enough like city living. Besides, you don't have to be worry too much about paying bills
because you don't many services. Without too much headache about money is convince of
country people. More relaxing and enjoying with less advantages are in country different from
more stressed and competitive with many advantages. Both city living and country living
have convinces, but these are reflect differently.
Second similarity is life conditions. Some old people design that life in country is magic like
poems: seeing alive animals around you, sleeping on grass and enjoying light winds. The
sound is alike interesting, romantic, and attracting. On the other hand, some young people
oppose that nothing can do in country where is boring and sad. In addition, people in country
breath fresher air and have quieter than people in city with pollution from crowded traffic,
factories, and population. Both people in city and country can get long life and young
appearance . Because country people enjoy relax living, fresh food and fresh air , they look
younger than their ages and longer life. In contrast, people in city are able to look like young
by doctors, and have longer from taking care healthy systems and hospitals. Although doing
different ways, not only city people but also country people can good life conditions.
Third similarity is people's characteristics. Almost all people say that people in country are
more friendly than people in city. Talking to neighbors, making good friends and sharing
experiences are usual in country living. While city people who are also friendly , they say
hello or how are you? to neighbors because most of people don't have much time, and time is
money for them. These are two different lifestyle between country and city living.
In conclusion, neither city living nor country living is the best. Both of these are similar good
about convinces, conditions, and people's characteristics though there have many ways to
show these good similarities.Whatever they bring benefits people's lives. In my view, I think
that every things in life always exist two sides:a good side, and another bad side. Nothing is
perfect even people; depending on your thoughts and hobbies. you can choose where you love
and can adapt easily is the best choice to you.

2. Speak about the last time you went to the mall.
Last time when I was to the mall was two months ago when I was at the Diamond Plaza
shopping mall. It is best known as the Diamond Plaza and is situated at 34 Le Duan Street,
near the Notre Dame Cathedral.
People from nearby places and from the city are the most frequent visitors but it's not
uncommon that tourists and shoppers from other cities come and shop from this shopping
mall. This shopping center includes a 22 story building plus an adjacent 15 story building and
offers a great shopping experience including restaurants, cafe, hospital, lounges, Cinema
Theater. There is a helicopter pad on the roof of this mall and offers many other facilities.
The Diamond Plaza shopping mall hosts many renowned brands and offers distinctive
shopping experience. You can find almost everything you need to shop from here. Many

fashion fans find it as their prime place for shopping and the shopping environment is
unmatched. One does not need to be rich to come and shop here as the goods offered suits the
people from economic status.
The food court is something you would love about this shopping mall. There are more than
hundreds of food shops that you can pick from and the game center attracts mostly the game
lovers and teenagers. The movie theater of the Diamond Plaza is called Lotte Cinema and is in
the 13th floor. With the most modern facility and safe environment this is an ideal shopping
center for all types of shoppers.
I like this shopping mall mostly because of the quality products and good price offering. Apart
from that the security, customer service and nice environment also attract me. Another reason
that affects my shopping decision from this shopping mall is its distance from my living
place. It takes only 15 minutes to reach there and this is one of the reasons I mostly decide to
shop there.
3. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of keeping diets.
An increasing concern for many governments around the world is the declining health of their
citizens due to a poor diet. While some people believe governments should be responsible for
improving the health of their nation, others believe it is up to the individual. This essay will
examine both sides of the argument.
There is no doubt that individuals must take some responsibility for their diet and health. The
argument to support this is the fact that adults have free will and make their own choices
about what they eat and the exercise that they do. Children are also becoming less healthy.
However, their parents are the ones who provide their evening meals so it is their
responsibility to ensure these meals are nutritious and encourage them to avoid junk food and
sugary snacks during the day.
Despite these arguments, there is also a case for advocating the intervention of the state.
People these days often have little choice but to depend on fast food or ready meals that are
high in sugar, salt and fat due to the pressures of work. Governments could regulate the
ingredients of such food. Some governments also spend huge amounts of tax money on
treating health problems of their citizens in hospitals. It would be logical to spend this on
preventative measures such as campaigns to encourage exercise and a good diet.
Having considered both sides of the issue, I would argue that although individuals must take
ultimate responsibility for what they eat, governments also have a role to play as only they
can regulate the food supply, which openly encourages a poor diet. It is only through this
combination that we can improve peoples health.

The person that goes with meto see a movie is my best friend.I like going with her because we

2. Describe your childhood toy that you are/were fond of.

As I think about my childhood toys, several come to mind. I think about the baby dolls I had,
or my ferbie and even the black sheep stuffed animal my grandmother gave me when I turned
5. I loved the sheep my Grandma gave me, but I didn't like to play with it. She had passed
away later that year, and so, I always wanted to keep the stuffed sheep in the pefect condition,
on my bed, next to my pillow. It was so special that I didn't want anything to happen to it.
Because I didn't play with my stuffed sheep as much as I treasured it, I would have to say that
absolute favorite toy, or toys, were my Polly Pockets. I remember playing with them ALL the
time. I hated Barbies, and Bratz dolls, but I remember all loving my Polly Pockets. I had a
backpack full of them. I think I had them when I was 5 or 6 years old. But I guess they were
special to me because they were the only toys I really ever played with, and I brought them
everywhere. They hold a place in my heart now, because I look back at my childhood and the
dolls and I remember my Grandma's house and the time I spent there with her.
Eventually, I ended up losing them. I went to the daycare at the gym where my mom worked
out. I would always bring them because I would play with my friend who's mom also worked
out there. But one day I forgot to bring them home- I didn't notice until the next day. My mom
and I went back to the gym to look for them, but they were gone. I was pretty much
devestated.
