THE ENDTIME WORLD WILL BE DESTROYED BY FIRE

[niv] By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert
1Co 3:10 builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful
how he builds.
1Co 3:11

[niv] For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid,
which is Jesus Christ.

1Co 3:12

[niv] If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones,
wood, hay or straw,

[niv] his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to
1Co 3:13 light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each
man's work.
1Co 3:14 [niv] If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward.
1Co 3:15

[niv] If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only
as one escaping through the flames.

2Pe 3:2

[niv] I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets
and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles.

2Pe 3:3

[niv] First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will
come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.

2Pe 3:4

[niv] They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our

fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation."

2Pe 3:5

[niv] But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens
existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water.

2Pe 3:6

[niv] By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and
destroyed.

2Pe 3:7

[niv] By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for
fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

[niv] But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will
2Pe 3:10 disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the
earth and everything in it will be laid bare.
2Pe 3:11

[niv] Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people
ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives

[niv] as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That
2Pe 3:12 day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and
the elements will melt in the heat.

Rev 16:8

[niv]The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was
given power to scorch people with fire.

[niv]They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of
God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and
glorify him.

[niv]The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and
Rev 16:10 his kingdom was plunged into darkness. Men gnawed their tongues in
agony

[niv]and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores,
but they refused to repent of what they had done.

[niv]The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and
Rev 16:12 its water was dried up (probably due to extreme hot season) to
prepare the way for the kings from the East.
[niv]Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of
Rev 16:13 the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the
mouth of the false prophet.
[niv]They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go
Rev 16:14 out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the
great day of God Almighty.
[niv]"Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and
Rev 16:15 keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be
shamefully exposed."
Rev 16:16 [niv]Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is

called Armageddon.

EXHORTATIONS: KEEP UP THE LOVE, STAY IN THE FAITH, THEN, WE CAN MAKE IT!
2Pe 3:13

[niv]But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new

heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.

2Pe 3:14

[niv]So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make
every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.

2Pe 3:15

[niv]Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our
dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.

[niv]These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which
1Pe 1:7 perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may
result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
