Dear Families,
We’ve had a lot of fun learning about insects and spiders the last few weeks. For the next 3 weeks
we’ll be learning about different animals (zoo, farm and pets). Through these units we’ll work on sorting
into categories, counting, letter recognition, writing, and predicting.
Don’t forget to fill out kindergarten registration packets. Ms. Mary sent a paper home last
week with either missing paperwork we still need or paperwork that has expired. Please try to send that
information she requested back as soon as possible. Also, for those returning to preschool, we will be
sending home another transportation form for next year. Please fill it out and also specify if you want
morning or afternoon. You will have first choice, so if you want your child to be in a different session let
us know now. Return the transportation paper before the end of school. Thanks!!!
Also, we are planning a end of the year celebration. We will be having a breakfast for both
classes together. As soon as we finalize a date, we will give you all the information. I am sad to say we
will not be going on a field trip this year because the cost will be too much to ask each parent to pay.
However, if you know of anyone who might bring a “field trip” to our school, let me know because that
could be a fun alternative.
Important Dates:
May 18th- NO SCHOOL (election day)
May 28th and June 4th- Preschool screening (don’t have to rescreen your child if
returning)
May 31st- No School (Memorial Day)
June 8th- Last Day of Preschool

Have a great week!

Ms. Sara, Ms. Mary and Ms. Teresa 

*Please remember to return your library book.
