a very reasonable price.
We will be offering the digital print to you for free and the
opportunity to have an 8x10 for $3.00 to $4.00 that can be
picked up on either Sunday 17th (if you had your family
photo taken the 10th), or the 24th (if taken on the 17th).
Photos will happen right after church.

April 24th,
May1st and 6th

Prayer walking involves taking our prayers to very places

where we desire to see Gods presence manifested and our
prayers answered. It is a dynamic way to pray on site with
Gods sight!
Thursday nights we will meet at the church at 5:00pm
(weather permitting) and walk through the neighborhoods
located around our building. This is family friendly and a
safe way to bless and get to know our neighbors. Join us!

"I waited patiently for the Lord, and he inclined

to me and heard my cry." Psalm 40:1
The Hebrew word for "wait" means: "to bind together, be
tethered to, or look longingly with patience. " (Terry Tekyl)
We will have an opportunity to do this together on April 30th
from 9:30-12:00 noon at Lake in the Woods Park. Even if you
have not been a part of the past Prayer Retreats this is a
great chance to join us and pray not just for our church, but
over Gods calling on our congregation.
See Jan Piasecki for more details. You can Sign up in the
back of the church today or call or email the church.. A
donation of $5-10 is requested but not required.

We still have a limited

number of copies of the
book Divine
Strongholds available
which was used for the
last prayer retreat.
Please see Jan Piasecki
if you would like one for
the upcoming retreat.

I am a one issue voter, plain and simple, and

that one issue is abortion. I firmly believe that a
great leader, whether a man or a woman, cannot
lead possibly lead well if they marginalize life at
any age. I wanted to share this because recently
a candidate in the election stated on national
television that a baby has no legal rights, none,
until they are physically born. No rights at all.
What follows is a portion of a message I
originally shared at the 40 Days for Life vigil in
2015. I believe that what it says is as important
today as it was when I originally shared it.
I am honored to be in the room with such and brave
souls. So with all the boldness the Holy Spirit will
grant to me I am going to do my best to walk a fine
line between my passion for this issue and my
frustration where this issue is concerned.
I want to start by saying that abortion is not a
Republican or Democratic issue. Those in politics,
in biology, in medicine, circles of philosophy, and
the judiciary are unable to arrive at any consensus
regarding the issue. Theirs is always a position of
speculation. There is one place that doesnt
speculate, but instead makes emphatic bold
statements of righteousness for all people - Gods
Word.
Therefore, all the work of politics, medicine,
science, philosophy and human justice will
ultimately fail us. Not because it is bad, but
because it cannot offer or sustain hope. Psalm 62:5
reminds us For God alone, O my soul my hope
is from him. Therefore, any lasting hope we have
comes from God, and my friends we need hope.
Stalin killed 20 million Russians and we call that an
atrocity. Hitler killed 30 million Jews and we call that
a holocaust. Yet, 1.2 million little boys and girls are
killed annually in the US. This is 3,200 boys and
girls a day, roughly the total number killed in the
9/11 attacks. This means that 133 little boys and
girls are killed per hour - 1 little boy and girl every
30 seconds - 55 million boys and girls and counting
since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973.
By comparison, the total number of US war deaths
in all the wars we have ever fought is approximately
1.6 million and think about it, we set aside days and
places to honor their sacrifice. When will we honor
all life in such a way?
Did you know that the vast majority of abortions are
performed between the seventh and tenth week
when all his or her organs are present, the brain is

functioning, the heart is pumping, the liver is

making blood cells, the kidneys are cleaning fluids,
and there is a fingerprint? The point where his or
her genetic code is uniquely and unquestionably
him or her.
When that little boy or girl is already sucking their
thumb, recoiling and responding to pain, and as
science is starting to show us, a time where these
little boys and girls dream. They dream.
Yet, these little boys and girls, a thousand every
day, are killed and almost all under the veil of
convenience. Not medical emergency as some
would like to say. Not rape, but convenience and
indifference to wickedness. Now I say boys and
girls because unlike the culture, who would attempt
to tell you these are just fetuses, I want you to see
faces. These are boys and girls made in the image
of God.
Genesis 1:27
So God created man in his own image,in the
image of God he created him; male (boy) and
female (girl) he created them.
Genesis 3:1 (Then sin enters the scene)
Now the serpent was more crafty than any other
beast of the field that the Lord God had made.
(After this God proclaims the coming of a
Savior)
Genesis 5:1-3
This is the book of the generations of Adam.
When God created man, he made him in the
likeness of God. 2Male and female he created
them, and he blessed them and named them
Man and woman when they were created.
3When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a
son in his own likeness, after his image, and
named him Seth.
The Bible makes it clear the Image of God is
passed through the generations from mothers and
fathers into their sons and daughters. Into this
room and out into our children and grandchildren,
and their childrens, children. We have AND they
have ALL been made in the image of God. Not
some, but all, and all deserve the right to live the
life that God has given them.

There is no sin, even the wickedness of abortion that

cannot be transformed by the cross of Christ for the
grace of God. There is no one that can out-sin the free
gift of God in the face of Christ.
