Tony Stark
Iron Man, the armor clad tragic hero is Anthony Edward “Tony” Stark.
Son of Howard Anthony Stark and Maria Collins Carbonell Stark,
and heir to their high-tech weapons research and development com-
pany Stark Industries. A born genius, Tony entered the Massachu-
setts Institute of Technology undergraduate program at age 15 and
graduated with a Masters in electrical engineering. By age 21 Tony
gain control of his deceased parents company which had been held
in trust for him by the chairman of Stark Industries, Obadiah Stane.

Don Cheadle
Lt. Col. James Rhodes
Tony Stark, who had secretly become the superhero named Iron Man, offered
Rhodes a job as his personal pilot, and Rhodes soon became one of Stark’s
closest associates and confidants as well as Stark Industries’ chief aviation
officer. As a result, he had numerous adventures with his employewhere his
daring and skills were valuable assets. Stark also subsequently designed a
heavier-armed version of the Iron Man suit, the “Variable Threat Response
Battle Suit” to battle the Masters of Silence, and it became known as the War
Machine armor.

Pepper Potts
Her given name is really Virginia, and that “Pepper” was a nickname be-
stowed upon her by Tony when they first met. While working as an accountant
she discovered a small error he made on a document, and when she went to
show him personally Tony’s bodyguards did not want to let her into his office.
She threatened to pepper spray them (though she really had none) to get
inside. Amused by the obvious lie, Tony lets her in and looks at the mistake,
hires her as his assistant on the spot, and calls her Pepper from then on.

Sam Rockwell
Justin Hammer
Justin Hammer was born in Surrey, England, and later became a citizen of
Monaco. A rival of industrialist Anthony Stark (Iron Man), multi-billionaire
businessman Hammer, himself an industrialist, later became a criminal
financier. Hammer uses unethical methods. In exchange for fifty percent
of the profits from their crimes, he will pay bail for costumed criminals and
finance the development and replacement of their weaponry and equipment.

Scarlett Johansson
Natalie Rushman/Natasha Romanoff
Natalia Romanova was born in Stalingrad, Russia and was trained as a Soviet
agent. Over her lifetime she has had numerous associations with various
Marvel super heroes.

At one time she attempted to seduce American defense contractor

Tony Stark and inevitably confronted his superhero alter ego, Iron Man.
