Article Structure
Mumiya mia! TITLE
We knocked our best heads together to come up with what could possibly be some of
the most incisive questions on mummy studies ever asked, and then put them to our
resident expert, Albert Zink, Head of the Institute for Mummies and the Iceman.
SUBTITLE

The most important question first: Have you

seen “The Mummy”?
Zink: I think so. Is that the movie about the
Egyptian mummy that comes back to life?
That’s the one. Would you describe it as scientifically
factual?
Zink: No. Mummies don’t come back to 6,000 / 3,000
life. But it is true that mummies are always
trying to tell us something. Mummies CHARACTERS
have secrets in their tissues that
are a resource for modern medicine. In
this way, perhaps, mummies are still very
much alive and kicking.
