It was my birthday. My mother bought me a birthday cake and threw a party for me. I
invited all my cousins and some of my friends. All of them came with presents in their hands.
I was very excited all day. I kept jumping about for joy. When the party was over, I sat on
the floor with all presents around me, and I opened them one by one.
There was a big box of crayons with twenty four different colors. Then, there was a pretty doll
which could sing and cry. I gave it to my little sisters to play with. Both of them were very happy
then they danced around. I kept the rest of my presents, a tea set, three story books, another doll

Three weeks ago, Anita and I went to Singapore on five day shopping trip on
February 22, 2008. We took a morning flight on SQ 325 at 8.30 a.m. It was our
third time to Singapore and we stayed with her relatives who live in Singapore.
The weather in Singapore was very hot. For some days, the temperature ran up as
high as 350C but we had a great time shopping.
Anita went back to Jakarta on 26th February 2008 at 7.30 p.m but I went back the
next day. She wishes to go to Singapore again for her next vacation.
Sincerely yours,
Alifah
