There are many origin story
Ancient Rome hand gesture used by Ancient
Roman crowds to pass judgment on a defeated
gladiator

USB symbol
Created as part of the USB 1.0 spec
the USB icon was drawn to resemble Neptune's Trident,
the mighty Dreizack. (But that doesn't mean you should go
around stabbing people or trying to domesticate dolphins
with your flash drive.) In lieu of the pointed triangles at
the tip of the three-pronged spear, the USB Promoters
decided to alter the shapes to a triangle, square and circle.
This was done to signify all the different peripherals that
could be attached using the standard.

Radiation symbol
first appeared in 1946
was originally magenta on a blue background, until the more
recognizable yellow and black version was adopted.
However, in 2007, it was announced that there would be an
additional symbol to represent radioactive hazards, after
surveys indicated that children often mistook the yellow and
black sign for a propeller, not something to be that
frightened of.
The new supplementary sign clearly shows radiation, the risk
of death and the need to run away, combined with the
universal colour of red for danger.

PETERS CROSS
when Peter was to be martyred he chose to be crucified
upside-down out of respect for Christ
the upside-down Latin Cross has become his symbol and,
thereby, a symbol of the papacy.
Sadly, this cross has been co-opted by Satanists whose
purpose of "inverting" Christianity (e.g. as in their Black
'Masses') is expressed by taking the Latin Cross of Christ
and inverting it.

Sesen
A Lotus Flower.
This is a symbol of the sun, of creation and rebirth.
Because at night the flower closes and sinks
underwater, at dawn it rises and opens again.
According to one creation myth it was a giant lotus
which first rose out of the watery chaos at the
beginning of time.
From this giant lotus the sun itself rose on the first day.
A symbol of Upper Egypt
The Book of the Dead contains spells for "transforming
oneself into a lotus" and thus fulfilling the promise of
resurrection.

The Infinity Symbol

Latin infinitas which means unboundedness
Archimedes-concept of infinity
The person who actually introduced the infinity symbol was John Wallis in 1655.
This symbol is sometimes called the Lemniscate.
It is a symbol that evolved a little bit from the Etruscan numeral for 1000 which
looked -(CI).
There is another theory that he actually derived the infinity symbol from omega
(), the last letter of the Greek alphabet.
a snake twisted into a horizontal figure 8 and biting its own tail

Tapuat
The Tapuat or labyrinth is the Hopi symbol for mother and
child.
The cradle, as it is also called, symbolizes that from where
we all come and shall eventually return.
The stages of our lives in general are represented by the
lines serving as our umbilical cord to the ever watchful
and protective eyes of our Mother.
The center of the labyrinth stands for the center of life,
the amniotic sac where we were all nurtured from the
very beginning.
This symbol is also sometimes referred to as the
journey, which again, the journey we call life.

Hammer and Sickle

Hammer and Sickle is possibly the most recognizable symbol of the
former USSR and the ideology that it represented.
This symbol comprising two crossed tools came up at the time of the
Russian Revolution and was later incorporated on the Soviet Union
flag.
The hammer is traditionally a symbol for the proletariat, while the
sickle is a typical symbol of the peasantry.
With their coming together, the Hammer and Sickle symbol
represents the unity of the workers and the peasants.
Even after the Soviet Union got dissolved, the Hammer and Sickle
has endured as a universal symbol of communism

The peace sign

This symbol was born in the UK about 50 years
ago.
It was used in anti-nuclear protests in Trafalgar
Square in London. The sign was taken from the
semaphores, or flag symbols, for N and D
(which are the first letters in Nuclear and
Disarmament) and the circle was drawn to
connote the world or the earth.
The symbol then became prominent in the 60s
and 70s, when Americans used it for anti-war
protests.
It has since become one of the few symbols used
for counter-culture groups and many protesters
worldwide

Dharmachakra
is one of the Ashtamangala of Indian religions
It has represented the Buddhist dharma, Gautama Buddha's teaching of the
path to Nirvana
Buddhism adopted the wheel as the main symbol of the ideal king, symbolising
the ability to cut through all obstacles and illusions.
A dharma wheel has three basic partsthe hub, the rim, and the spokes.
The circle, the round shape of the wheel, represents the perfection of the
dharma, the Buddha's teachings.
The rim of the wheel represents meditative concentration and mindfulness,
which hold practice together.
The hub represents moral discipline.
The wheel (on the left and right) refers to the story that shortly after the Buddha achieved
enlightenment, Brahma came down from heaven and requested the Buddha to teach by
offering him a Dharmachakra. The Buddha is known as the Wheel-Turner: he who sets a
new cycle of teachings in motion and in consequence changes the course of destiny.
