meet the industry-leading expectations we hold for ourselves,
comply with government regulations,
The standards and associated test protocols are minimum requirements for documented testing by an LS&Co. approved testing laboratory.
There are two aspects to the Global Fabric & Garment Performance Standards:
1. The Performance Standards - these list the performance requirements for individual test properties by fabric or garment category.
2. The Testing Protocols these list the minimum testing requirements during product development and production.
It is the vendors responsibility to ensure that all shipped products meet the relevant performance standards.
The performance requirements for all the test properties in a standard apply to a product even if that property is not tested as part of the test
protocol.
The testing outlined in the protocols is a minimum documentation requirement for LS&Co. Vendors must use their own discretion to determine
the testing required to validate production processes and the performance of all shipped product. If a vendor anticipates that a component
will change in garment form, testing should be undertaken to ensure that the final product will meet the required standards.
All LS&Co. products must be produced in accordance with applicable laws and regulations for the markets where they are sold. It is every
vendors responsibility to understand the government regulations relevant to their respective products and stay current with updates and
changes to these and LS&Co. Global Fabric and Garment Performance Standards.
