Celebrating the Life and Spirit

The Family of Doris Jean Walker would like to say thank you for all the
acts of love shown towards us during the loss of our loved one. We give
thanks to the Lord God Almighty for the time that He granted for her to
be with us. We thank you for the flowers, cards, comforting words, hugs,
kisses and prayers. We thank you for all meals that were prepared for
us with love and care. We thank the Lord for all the people that gave in
any way during our time of bereavement. May God continue to bless
you all!

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to

lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still
waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou
art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou
preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely
goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and
I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

To Those I Love
If I should ever leave you whom I love , to go along the silent way
Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears,
but laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you there.
I'd come-I'd come, could I but find a way!
But would not tears and grief be barriers?
And when you hear a song or see a bird I loved,
please do not let the thought of me be sad.
For I am loving you just as I always have,
You were so good, to me!
There are so many things I wanted still to do,
So many things to say to you .
Remember that I did not fear,
It was just leaving you that was so hard to face.
We cannot see beyond, but this I know,
I loved you so - 'twas heaven here with you!

I am the resurrection and the life, he that beleiveth in me, though he

were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me
shall never die. St. John 11:25-26
